Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Engineer for structural survey

    Hi,

    Anyone able to recommend a good engineer to do a structural survey of a house and who wont rob me ... not sure of the going price for it??

    Also, any recommendations on solicitors to handle buying a house??

    I used Ben Harte for our structural survey when we bought our house.

    Found him very good.

    No issues or anything found but he got the report to me quickly.

    Anyone ever use Bryan McCarthy as an engineer?

    Also, any recommendations for a solicitor, Have been given names of John Guiry and Kelleghers solicitors in Waterford?

    Can't speak highly enough of Ben Harte either, did all the surveys on our build. As for solicitors, Peter O'Connor is whom I use down on Adelphi Quay.

    i used James Reynolds Architect to do survey - reasonable and friendly - and John Been in HD Keane in O'Connell st as a solicitor, very efficient

    Would second the recommendations for Ben Harte and John Breen respectively. We've used both in the past.
