Feck sake the 206 was all ready for the NCT and I hopped into it this evening to give it a bit of a clean and the driver window is frigged. Screeches and gets jammed half way up. I'm was so afraid when trying to jimmy it up because it sounded like it was going to smash :( Very strange as it was working perfectly yesterday  I took off the door panel, but I might as well be looking at a bare wall, haven't a clue where to start  I'm guessing it's catching against something, but the motor/regulator thing would hardly go out of the blue, would it?

Any recommendations for best back to black wax? Some of the black exterior on car is gone dull and I want to bring it back to life.

Is this black plastic trim or black paint?

Best trim restorer you can buy. expensive but lasts ~2 years.

Plastic. Its around the bottom of the bumpers and some strips on the doors.

The C4 posted above is the best stuff available (I've not personally tried it though)

Personally, I use Meguires Ultimate Tyre Gel because I have it and I'm a cheap bastard :p You do have to reapply it after each wash though :(

How was it working in the past few days? Laboured, noisy etc? If it was working fine more than likely something jamming it

Meant to ask this earlier. Civic is up for its NCT tomorrow at 2, but I haven't got the logbook yet. Could I still bring it up?!

That's a 14 reg, which makes it less than a month old!

It said there are only 500 miles on the clock. That's gotta hurt.

500 miles on the clock. I'd imagine it's a write off.........pity there is a 9 month waiting list.

Similar looking to an accident that happened here last year. Very similar looking but not the same spot, guessing the new one is in the UK somewhere? The one here was just off Gardiner St. Or something wasn't it?

Imagine if you were walking by at that time. Game over.
I suspect speed had something to do with it. Like that's in london, built up area speed limit should be 30. No way would that happen at 30.

It was still €2k when I posted it here.
*Price hop 2,500. I know everyone is used to price drops but due to the vast amount of interest I'm raising the price - like a boss

Hmm yeah, here's a bit more from the ad.
You can try haggle if you want but be warned I'm a mane farmer so you'd be lucky to get much if anything off it

Call or text at anytime (if i don't text back i'm probably after dropping the phone into a pile of ****e again) and sure even if you're only a timewaster it's grand because I'm only mad for the oul chats while I'm out milking the cows

If the ad is still here then so is this beauty

and his name on the ad is this:
    Brian 'Big Boss' Murphy

    Brian 'Big Boss' Murphy

His name was Brian Murphy yesterday and for most of today but added all the boos stuff into ad after price hop.
He says he has so many interested caller but yet none bought the car today so I don't know how he comes to the concluision of a price hop.

I was much more interested in it before he added that crap and increased the price.
