I am buying a car in the north today.

What documents will I need to get from the seller (dealer)
Will I need anything extra for vrt?
He is giving me a 3 month warranty.
What should I be looking for in the warranty.
Is whatever is included in the warranty gemerally written in a document and signed?

    Thanks in advance.

Just get the V5 (registration document). That's all you need for the VRT. You will need to ring them to make an appointment. Don't think you can just turn up.

Get a dated receipt and some kind of proof of when you collected it, like a petrol receipt maybe (just in case)
