Hi everyone, I am a software developer and student and I would like to sell Android apps on the Google Play store. It says I am resposible for the tax. How does this work? I don't understand it at all. Can I use my PayPal to accept the money? And if so will PayPal do the tax for me? Please tell me what to do so the governement doesn't come knocking on my door. ANy advice of setting this up is welcome.

But if you are a business you probably should have an accountant. They arent that expensive but will tell if you are running your business wisely

You will have to file an income tax return at the end of each year.

You may have to consider Vat as well. Talk to an accountant, most will have a chat with you and not charge unless they provide you with further services.
