    None really. Do always have a chuckle at any of them on the cover of LIFE magazine though. Always the unsexiest poses and 3 pages dedicated to non-stories.

    not really a celebrity but to some of the younger generation she be be a "celebrity politician" compared to the old men in politics. I am talking about your one from the late late show the other night, who "lives in the southern state" and who tells us her colleague and leader was not in the IRA. lol

    Nah its more of these people put them out in the public eye to "entertain" us. They court attention so this thread is a form of attention.
    How are the more successful than us? Some posters on here may have more money and a better car than any of those celebs.

    Depends on how you define success. It it purely a materialistic thing? I don't really think so myself.

    Anyway I just think it's a pointless exercise complaining about people that annoy us. It's not going to get us anywhere!

    I personally blame shows like that for creating the cult of celebrity in Ireland.
    That show is the cheapest vapid shallow thing on telly.

    Yeah I remember when it was film stars and people of note being famous ... Now all you have to do is come 15 on some talent show here.

    how is clare daly a hypocrite ? , im very far away from her politics but the woman appears to be full of integrity , she handled the guards attempt to stitch her up extremely well
