Spurs are playing something close to a shadow side tonight by the looks of it.
Sherwood will head into the game at the Stadium of Light on Thursday night without a recognised centre-half, with Michael Dawson, Younès Kaboul and Vlad Chiriches injured and Jan Vertonghen suspended.

Six teenagers from the academy have travelled to Lisbon to fill the squad, while Paulinho and Emmanuel Adebayor are the latest injury concerns with hamstring problems.

gonna back Lok. Plovdiv -2 at home @ 4/5 in bulgaria, they beat the other team 3 nil away from home last time.

It seems everyone is backing Benfica cuz they've read that Spurs have 7 youngsters in their squad for tonight's game, but...
The kids won’t play unless there’s a need to,’ said Sherwood, the club’s former head of youth development.‘There’s a time and a place to blood young talent.
‘Unless we need to they won’t be thrown into the lion’s den because you could end up killing someone’s career before it’s even started.
‘Some of these boys are apprentices. They’re nowhere near ready to play in Tottenham’s first team.’

the predicted line up doesn't look that weak, except for Friedel maybe, I have no idea how good he is now.

and Benfica will be resting players too.

Thats still a poor back four and Spurs are very dodgy on set pieces.

I think theres value in Corners market in EL tonight.
Doing a few handicap double combos with Salzburg, Sevilla.
    And adding Benfica for trebles
    Last weeks corner counts
    Salzburg (11-2) away
Sevilla (8-2) home, but 2-0 down going into second leg so have to go for it.
Benfica good odds on them for Corner count too with Spurs defense so depleted.

    good luck to everyone

had a good night... a few bets came up... if only 11 man Salz against 10 man Basel could have gotten a couple more corners it would have been spectacular night..
    Corner counts ended
    Salzburg 9-6
    Sevilla 6-3
Benfica 6-5 .. Corner match bet
will post in the After-timing tomorrow

Athletico Madrid 15/8 (-1) away to Betis...Note the match is Sunday
but surely Betis will be jaded after their EL extra time drama.

If you had DNB all Chelsea's home games under Mourinho what sort of profit would you make? I think it's 80 home games without defeat now.

    DNB vs Arsenal @1.33

Today is Wenger's 1000th game as Arsenal manager, don't think Arsenal will lose today, I don't like to bet on the EPL though.

Man city to get a card in the game today is 8/11 on 365 looks tremendous value at home they have gotten 1 in every game at home since Jan 6th v West Ham where they won 6-0 in the league cup,if they don't trolley them too early id fancy that to come in

    One bet for me today:

Norwich to beat Sunderland at 11/8 (Bet Victor, Stan James)

Some stats which make me like this bet:

Norwich are unbeaten in their last five home games. Sunderland have failed to win at Carrow Road since the 1984-1985 season.

Norwich have only conceded 12 goals at home this season and only City, Arsenal, and Chelsea have a better record than that. Sunderland have only scored 13 away from home all season (only 8 against bottom half teams).

Sunderland have the worst record in the Premier League against teams in the bottom half, registering only 10 points from such games. Norwich meanwhile, have registered double that tally with 20.

Norwich basically have four upcoming games to secure their status as they play Liverpool, Arsenal, United and Chelsea in their last four, so this is close to must win for them. I think they'll beat a poor Sunderland side.

Intresting game in Algeria today, the odds on MO Bejaia (the HOME team) opened at 1.57 and now you can get them @ 2.60, insane value.

Rooney wincast enhanced to 4/1 from 15/8 with PaddyPower. Starts up front as well.

As a Sunderland fan I take no pleasure in yet another defeat, but you'll struggle to find a better value bet. Back against Sunderland every week from now until the end of the season is my advice. The team are broken and beaten.
