My husband has replaced booze with biscuits and caffeine for Lent. Now I give up junk food for it and I don't drink, to be supportive. But it's really pi$$ing me off everytime I open the cupboard and find lots of biscuits in there. Also, there is so much coffee cluttering up the cupboard.

He can't seem to find a brand that's strong enough, I think he's looking for a coffee thats so strong he can virtually stand a spoon up in it. It's getting very tempting to be really petty and just sit down beside him with a large gin and tonic, but I won't:D

Oh I know what you mean eisenberg and I remember looking at my legs in the mirrow while wearing those stilettos thinking "wow, what has just happened!?" :D And then I put them back on the shelf because it was a horrendous foot pain costing 100 quid. (Well I'd wear stilettos knowing that I won't be walking miles in them, unless I'd be with a gentleman who'd be willing to carry me in his arms ) There are shoes for various occasions. I like nice shoes but if I'm going to look like a lady I should walk like one too :o
Anyway my complain was more about day-to-day shoes. I'm not the kind of a girl, who would wear crocs/runners/Uggs with her skirt on the way to/from work. I walk a lot as well so I want something that doesn't cripple my feet and looks good.

    Shoe rant over ;)

A "nice" court shoe should do the job:D

Well I am Leg man, and while I appreciate the discomfort, there is not a ladies leg in the world, that does not look better in a four inch stiletto.......

Mine don't, I have big clown feet and thin heels make them look even bigger

People chewing the nails off themselves when they're talking to you.

Nail chewing full stop. Then the removing of the hand from the mouth, examining it, and back in for more.

OK - time for emergency surgery. Place said "clown feet" in six-inch stilettos and beside the open door of an Aston Martin. :D

...Also this 131, 132, 141, 142 crap, everyone is trying to be the first to get the new number..... time some people got a life.

I think they should further refine that into twelve one-month sections, i.e. 1401 to 1412, and watch the plate-chasers go Bzzzzzttt as their little single-bit brains throw parity errors! :pac::pac::pac:

I had a lady in the makeup counter who was showing me a new makeup they had ask me if i wanted a darker shade than my natural shade. The fúck?????

I was buying a certain product of a make-up lady in the airport, who looked like a badly made up transvestite. Now she was lovely to talk to but when she asked me if I wanted her to do my make up I politely replied that I didn't have time while thinking that I could just buy a face-paint and get some kids to do it, would work out the same :pac:

There is no joke! A woman can have a pair of pins like Giant Redwoods, but in heels and sheer tights she just has to do that "getting-out-of-an-Aston-Martin-and-letting-her-skirt-ride-up-just-a-teeny-bit" thing and I'm on the ground with my four paws up in the air, panting like an overweight labrador! :D

Not sure if you have ever taken them but the come down from some of the pre-workout drinks is horrific! Drink this stuff, feel super for an hour and then by the time you get home your anxiety will be through the roof and you will feel like every last drop of energy has been sucked from your body! Ridiculous amounts of caffeine and whatever else they put in to them!

Nope :( I've even gone all "rise above it" on the office politics thats been tormenting me all week. I had a nice chat with the lovely guy in the bank, bought a birthday present for my Dad and have spent the afternoon going over and above and sending people nice emails and stuff...

I have it figured out though. I got a twinge of a pain there in the nether regions. Hey ho looks likes like I'll be waving the red flag soon. This always happens. I get all nice and pleasant in the prescribed pmt time...I'm just an antichrist the rest of the month.

Dont worry, back to miserable normal on Monday!:mad:

Edit: or offering to take their flight socks home to wash and dry. Eugh :P

When a question about an old movie or song comes up on a game show and the contestant is like "oh that's before my time!".

As if it's impossible to access now or the person is just too ignorant to realize that there was some great stuff before they were born. :pac:

Today I somehow forgot the first number of my PIN number. Turns out it is possible to bypass the PIN on some of those machines. The guy in the shop was also surprised

I remember this happening while my husband and I waited for a bus. Some aul wan with learning difficulties came over when the bus arrived and asked my husband to carry her bag on for her, she'd no problem carrying it around the city centre though. We were getting off at the same stop and she came over and asked him to carry it off the bus for her too.
