Heya just joined as i wondered if anyone could help with my bike issues, i have a 01 suzuki gn125 and its been playing up since yesterday. Stalled at a junction when revs returned to idle, stalled with clutch in. Now bike wont idle unless i keep throttle on. I did manage to get back from work, however 2nd gear it was jerking quiet a bit, 4th and 5th gear it seemed quiet happy.
    Any idea's whats going on?

Just to add to the confusion my rev counter isnt working either -.-
    Just got one ordered today.

The rev counter problem is a symptom not the cause so I wouldn't be in a hurry to change it.
The feed to the rev counter is likely to be from the ignition coil and your stalling problem could be a dud coil or bad electrical connection.

IIRC the rev counter on the GN is fed by a (mechanical) cable from the camshaft. Probably just snapped. That wouldn't help with the running problem though.

    I'm partial to your abracadabra
I'm raptured by the joy of it all
