I have a few rads in the house turned off in rooms they're not needed. I've turned down the thermostat on the ofch boiler too. Will this save me money? Thanks :)

Turning off rads will help. Benifits from turning down boiler stat will be marginal unless that is the only way of controlling temperature. If that is the case, it's wasteful anyway.

Turning down the thermostat to low on a standard non condensing boiler with a vertical chimney can produce higher levels of condensation in the flue which can cause serious rusting of the boiler due to acidic content of the condensation moisture.

Room thermostat is a better option, available as a wireless option if wiring is difficult.
