Mine is "regrettable". You often see public figures saying it.

Something like "Dublin City Council find it regrettable that sulphuric acid made it into peoples drinking supply"

When you think about it, what does that even mean? That the incident is worthy of regret, but that regret is not necessarily felt by us? It has to be there most worthless and dilute form of apology imaginable. No wonder public figures use it.

When people use the word retard or retarded to describe something in a negative way. Not the word itself, the meaning implied, if you catch my drift.

In the same way, using mong. Says a lot more about the speaker than the subject.

Criminality, physicality and so on. Every time I watch the news some gob$hite is tacking _ity on to the end of a word in a vain attempt to sound smarter.
