The two je's are very blocky tbh. I'll bring to the mart and see what happens.
The father has a gra for bullocks. Sold last if weanling last sat and he said that's end of them no more bullocks. Now he wants to keep more

I'm not using anymore LHZ here. Aside from the average MSs, there are just too many hard calvings. I was lucky this year that any I had in calf to LHZ were big HOs.

Another 3 cows calved this morning, only 15 left! 2 of them still yet to be dried off ha!.

had vet out yesterday and got her to do a wash out on a heifer that other vet did an episiotomy(sp) on last week, the vet was near crying for the heifer about what pain she must have had:cool: heifer is grand eating and finished antibiotics

I couldn't believe it when I went into the shed to look at her. I was feeding calves in the next shed and not a groan or moan out of her when she was having it

Off to spread a little slurry today before the rain comes

Short lunch here today, agitator on @1500 rpm:)

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

Yep I agree. Unless it is going to be a down pour. A bit of rain to wash it in is the way to go.

    You're not far off Biddy.

According to Met Eireann: Heavy rain spreading from the Atlantic overnight leading to some spot flooding.

Yeah, that's about it I think. Status Yellow weather warning at present and spot flooding forecast.

I'm not for a second goin to justify the info Teagasc give out, but just for the sake of it clarity I posted a link. I've seen the same Info posted several places. I've even seen a figure for a good 48 hrs forecast at spreading.

:pac: For the bales maybe! We're clearing out about .5 acre of dales/scrub altogether in a couple of places (that darned red pen on the maps) so trying to clear out any animals in it.
