    Hello,

I currently have a cisco Cisco EPC 3925 with a UPC connection and the wireless is very intermittent. I've decided to search for another router and came accross the Asus RT-N66u and seems like the best bet.

    (1) Is it possible to completely abandon the Cisco EPC 3925 or do I have to bridge it with the Asus RT-N66u?

    (2) UPC currently provide telephone services as-well, do I connect the telephone to the UPC box or the Asus?

    cheers,

    Kev

    1. Gotta keep the EPC
    2. Phone goes to the EPC.

I presume keeping the cisco box won't act as a bottleneck and the UPC box is essentially just forwarding everything it receives?
