Best Irish Credit Card to earn Rewards?

    Earning rewards on credit card purchases is a big thing in USA and Canada.

    Do any Irish credit cards also earn rewards on purchases?

    The only one I can think of is Tesco, who give you bonus clubcard points on all purchases inside and outside Tesco stores.

    Ryanair also do a credit card, but I'm not sure if you can get one in Ireland (online anyway)

    Cashback with AIB Platinum Visa. Only 0.5% though. Low by other countries standards.

    I see you can get an American Express card in Ireland, which gives you reward points.

    But do most Irish retailers accept AmEx cards?

    Lots of Irish retailers don't take American Express. Their fees are too high...

    You only get cashback after you have spent above 5,000 EUR on the card per year. A lot of people are better off with a Tesco Credit card.
