Just seen stats on benfica. They have conceded just 1 goal in their last 16 games. Astonishing.

Fancy one from Benfica and Napoli to notch a W tonight, more so the former.

Porto are a shadow of the numerous Porto's sides over the past decade, even if there is still some very decent players on their books. In saying that, Napoli isn't very good on the road and that's being kind.

Benfica meanwhile are flying, and frankly Sherwood's tactical nous in the EPL, let alone in Europe can be questioned. They didn't impress me in either leg of their tie vs Dnipro except for a 30 minute period or so after Dnipro had one of their players sent off. Despite that, the Ukrainians still had their chances after that. Team moral can be questioned too given what happened during and after the Chelsea game last weekend. At the very least I'll be surprised if Spurs keep a clean sheet, so BTTS and Over 2.5 Goals coming in wouldn't surprise me. Will throw something on Benfica winning straight up at 2's and/or Benfica Win and BTTS @ 5's.

Also, I was hoping to see better odds for Salzburg too, disappointing seeing them available at Evens.

    Hopefully someone followed this :)

Followed on the 5/1, great price seeing that Benfica are on a great run and Sherwood and Tottenham are under pressure, thanks for the tip!

Why Is the Caen match taken off 365 ,wonder is there something dodgy about it ,not on the Inplay list either

Wouldn't touch it. I'd expect City and Newcastle to face difficulty. Everton seem a sure bet but I wouldn't back this treble.

    Everton vs Cardiff(Away+2 asian) 1.49
Adding up both Everton and Cardiffs home/away games this has been a void in 8/27 of their matches.15/27 of their overall games it's won and 4/27 lost.
If Everton can turn on the magic there's a chance they'll take Cardiff to town but after the win last week Cardiff morale will be a bit better and they could put up a fight. The reverse game in August finished 0-0.Ben Turner is a doubt for Cardiff but Jagielka and Pienaar could be missing for the Toffees too.

    Stoke vs West Ham(under 2.5) 1.64
9/14 under home games for Stoke,9/14 away under games for West Ham.Stoke missing 2 attacking regulars in Walters and Adam. The last 3 meetings between the sides have all been unders.

Sunderland vs Crystal Palace(Home win and under 2.5) 4
Pulis has under 2.5 now in 7/8 away games since taking over. There were goals at Sunderland early on in the season but 4/5 most recent games at home have went under.Bannan,Gabbidon and Chamakh are all doubts for Palace,Who have only scored in 4/8 away games under Pulis.Sunderland are a mixed bag but have a good chance to put points on the board tomorrow.Might have a small saver on 2-1 and 3-0.

Lille vs Nantes (under 2.5) 1.7
Straight out of the Las handbook:pac: 10/14 unders games for Lille at home this season,9/14 away for Nantes.Nantes haven't scored away from home this year and have drawn a blank in 6/7 last away games.Lille have kept 10 clean sheets in 14 including their last 3.Lille to win to nil looks really solid @2.15.It looks so solid it probably has to go wrong!

I'm on the straight Lille win.

-Wolves have won their last 9 games by a minimum 2 goal margin with 7 clean sheets.
-Shrewsbury have 1 win in their last 11 games.
-Shrewsbury have doubts over on-loan Bolton striker Tom Eaves (hamstring), Aaron Wildig (quad) and Luke Summerfield (thigh).

Wolves are doing so well I can see then screwing this up - local derby and all that!

Linfield/Cliftonville double might be worth a look.

Another example of PP being on the ball with their enhancements. Hope you dodged it.

If you could single out which team they think will let down their powerplays and lay them every week then you'd be up a lot by May!

Real vs Malaga(away +3 asian) and Atletico vs Espanyol (away +2.5 asian) 1.54 double.
This bet has lost in 6/14 Atletico home matches,But only in 1/13 Espanyol away games.Espanyol beat Atleti earlier in the season and are a tough side to break down.Atletico smashed Milan midweek and look like proper world beaters,But have had a bit of a rigorous schedule recently. It's possible they'll lack a bit of sharpness early on.
The Real side of the bet has only lost 2/14 away games,Against bottom and third from bottom. It's lost 1/13 for Malaga. If any team can go and thrash another on a whim it's Real,And Malaga are missing an important defender. But on the flipside Sergio Ramos is out for Real at the back and Malaga are expecting a full-house tonight,Maybe not that important but could help the home side. They won this game last season too.

Not the worst results.Stoke West Ham came out of nowhere.Really should've got on the unders in Sunderland Palace,I already had a few money on bets going though and chickened out.
Low and behold something went wrong with Lille:rolleyes:

Defoe should be a goldmine in that MLS especially with the small chance of going to the World Cup

Man Utd vs Liverpool (Suarez motm) 10
A bit of an arbitrary source but Whoscored rates Suarez man of the match success rate @12/23 games this season. It's not an official number but it says a lot.Suarez is having an unreal run of form right now,Honestly wouldn't be surprised to see him up there with Messi or Ronaldo or *insert Bayern player* for the Ballon D'Or when it comes around again. He has massive motivation tomorrow. It could be a tight game and if it ends up being a bit of magic that unlocks the door for one side tomorrow,Then he's one of the few out on the pitch that can provide it.

Utd 6/4 at home. How the mighty have fallen

Red Bull Salzburg are at home so a -1 handicap is probably worth the (too short) price of 1.36

BTTS double in today's two Premier League games. Can't pull the stats out here but I know both games usually provide a high number of goals and looking at the line ups for the early kick off I can't see that being any different.
    Pays 2.56 Large stake

Like the enhanced price for Suarez anytime on PP...9/5

Arsenal to win and BTTS is 9/2.....but will Spurs score?:)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 124 ✭✭PuntersAdvice

Interesting one from Ladbrokes, don't know the max bet.

From 16:00 until the first goal in the Tottenham v Arsenal game we will boost the price on Spain to win the 2014 World Cup from 6/1 to a massive 10/1!
