So I've been thinking about getting a GoPro for a while now, want to use it mainly for when I'm playing football and basically I love having every gadget going. Would it be worth getting? It looks as though the silver is the one I'd be interested in.. Where is the cheapest place to get it does anyone know? Any help greatly…

So I've been thinking about getting a GoPro for a while now, want to use it mainly for when I'm playing football and basically I love having every gadget going. Would it be worth getting? It looks as though the silver is the one I'd be interested in.. Where is the cheapest place to get it does anyone know? Any help greatly appreciated.

um...personally I prefer the black edition because it gets much better video quality of 1440p (which is quite professional you know..most of the cameras only got 1080p) and captures better quality photos. (12MP at 30fps, while silver is 10MP at 10 fps)

I have a GoPro Hero 3+ Black edition. It find it great. Lately I have been recording video on it, flying it on a quadcopter. I have also used it for timelapse photos.

It's dead handy and works great.

Cheers for the reply lads. I've seen some alternatives but have heard the best things about GoPro, so definitely want one of these. Silver would be the one I'm looking at because if budget constraints. Where's the best place around dublin to buy one does anyone know?

I bought direct from GoPro. Seems to be good price and very quick delivery.

eglobal central eu is the cheapest place for electronics as far as i have seen :cool:

I'm also thinking of ordering a D7100 from them because the price now is really amazing(€689 plus €15 off...)

Anyone had any experience with pixmania.ie? The black edition on that is €359.99. Cheapest I can find in store in Dublin is €429.99..

I was just wondering why the big price difference??

I haven't used them (nearly did recently..) but by all accounts they seem fairly decent and are definitely legit.
