Would you really be surprised the number of people that type 'facebook' into the search box on the Google home page?

You don't believe me, do you? :D
How about people typing Google into the integrated Google search box?

Got this a lot when I was losing weight, the more annoying people are the ones "A burger won't hurt" "A few biscuits won't hurt" blah blah blah

You don't know my mentality, so yes a few biscuits will hurt.
Píss off and let me eat what I WANT TO EAT. You didn't have an issue when it was crappy fast food.

I have a bit of a beer belly after being really thin throughout my teenage years. I'm 24 and i have a bit of a gut and i have my family telling me I'm getting too big. They gasped with open mouths when they found out my waist was a 34 when it was a 32 or 30 6 years ago. I get my ma AND younger sister recommending i buy bigger sizes of t-shirts when I'm going into the likes of river island or penneys. When they dont know the tshirt size they say it looks nice on me, and, when they do find out its a medium they think i should go bigger... I dont understand. My point is they are over exaggerating my size when I'm actually not that big. I'm 5'5 and 12 stone. I think im okay....

To be uttered Mr Miyagi style...

And then my child, just like that, the need for organised slimming groups and diet plans went right out the window. In the future, when temptation hit, all one would have to do was read Eisenbergs granny tongue slipping post...and all hunger would disappear. For the lucky few, prior meals too would be purged. Such was the far reaching effect of his post.

At mass, you go to sit up after kneeling down and the bollox behind you is still kneeling, forcing you to sit in an awkward stooped position like your're sitting on the bog.

Having recently acquired a new touch-screen phone, and discovering that my slightly arthritic old paws are not quite match-fit for these dainty virtual keyboards that they have, I decided to buy a stylus. So I set off to a local shopping centre where there are no less than four telephone shops. Did any of them stock styli? Did they furk-buggery as like. Why is this? Am I the only idiot who wants such a thing? I eventually happened upon them in a crappy little pound-shop sort of store for €1.50, so at least the mission succeeded.

Oddly enough analogue telephones have always completely baffled me. Ralf Hütter and I are in the same camp in that sense. :D

Posh fcukers on the news always pronounce it that way. Why is it that you never hear anyone with a normal Dublin accent working on television and radio?

I don't have an issue with accents as such and most of the news readers are fine, but the reporters FFS, you have yer man in Cork Paschal whatever, with his sing song goin on, and there is a girl on RTE radio 1, reads the news as gailge, jesus a voice that curdle milk.

    ^^ you think that's bad.
The death notices on Midlands 103 is excruciating to listen to.**

    One particular presenter reads-
" de debt has occurred of.........funeral in de sacred hearth church."
She puts the "th" in when she shouldn't and forgets it when she should!!

I only listen if someone I know has died.**

When you ask someone do they have their loyalty card and they say no. you then finish the bill and they pull out this card asking ' is it too late for this? '

Listening to Cork accents all day today, cut the ears off you it's that sharp, then missed my train, having to get the bus and there's some nasal Canadian young one two seats behind me talking to some guy who sounds like he was dragged up in Limerick...

Thankfully five minutes later I've the headphones in before I burst a blood vessel :pac:

Why the fook does the Daylight Savings Time change not take effect for everyone at the same time.

The time has changed now for the US/Canada& a few other places ( so New York is now only 4 hours behind Ireland until 30/04/13)

fekkin annoying when you are working in a multinational company.

Feckin' annoys me that you're giving out and then put in a date that's long gone and wrong even for last year :D

Not just on boards, but.. A poster mentions someone well known, and invariably one response will be, who is...?

Speaking of Daylight Savings Time, what annoys me is the whole "Spring Forward, Fall Back" thing we're meant to use to remember which way the clocks go at which time of year.

Lets take the "Spring Forward" part for a second. When you say "My appointment was brought forward" it means, for example, it was brought from 2pm to 1pm. But in the context of daylight savings time, forward means the clock will go from 2am to 3am. i.e. the opposite direction, yet "forward" is used to describe both! Opposite directions for the same word.

    Confusing as f*ck!!

    That should say 30/03/14.

Or, as it's American, 3/30/14... something that trivially annoys me is US date format being wrong! :)
