Recruitment agency not removing my personal details from their database

I have been receiving mails from ComputerPeople.ie every few months or so ever since I submitted my CV to them back in 2005 or so.

I believe I first requested they remove my details from their database back in 2007, which they said they would, and since then I've received about 30 or so mails, including one today.

Do I need to contact the Data Protection Commissioner about this, or is this matter too small and I need to send them a legal letter instead??

    Thanks

Write to them one last time, telling them to delete your details or that you will contact the DPC.

Any further contact and report them to the DPC.

You could flag them as spam with your email provider. If enough people do that, then the e-mail provider will block all their emails.
