I love it when Mother Nature perks up and makes life difficult for the pros. Its a great spectacle!

brilliant to see Rory turn his round around, from being +4 at one stage to back to level par. Gives him a real shout going into the weekend :D

This year's tournament has already been better than the last few years imo. Great to see the Blue Monster living up to its name at last.

That was a great evening's entertainment. Fair play to Rory. Should be a good weekend.

On the recommendation of fdp looks like i will try some London pride this evening. Also a curry made yesterday and the laptop with headphones.
6 o click can't come quick enough. If its anything like yesterday its gonna be brutal.

More balls in the water in one day than ever in the course of the tournament.

    It was fun :D

Early groups are out....and looking at the scores, looks like more of the same.......12 of the 20 on the course are above par already....many 2 or 3 over after only 4 holes.

Just looked at the scoring stats.....#1, 8 and 16 are the only holes averaging below par for the tournament.

Poulter playing with Matsuyama today after calling him an idiot on twitter yesterday, should be interesting.

It's also possible that they're just playing ****e......TV coverage just started here and doesn't look like the wind is a factor.

Cant link it here but photo of Matsuyama saying sorry to Poulter on range doing rounds.

Poulter can be bit annoying though himself.

Keegan Bradley just overshot the hole by 50 feet from a greenside bunker.....going up-hill.....responded by throwing his wedge across the fairway......I think the tough scoring this week is starting to get to some of these guys.

Bar when he's playing in the Ryder Cup I'm not a fan of Poulter, I didn't see what Matsuyama did, sounds like he was being stupid, he's a very hot headed player, but why does Poulter feel the need to go on Twitter and rant about it?

In actual golf news. Tiger is -3 through 8 to be within 3 of the leaders.

Tiger right back in the thick of things now at even par.

    Tiger is back.

Putting letting Rory down so far today.

8 birdies today for Tiger. Will be a big threat tomorrow no doubt.

Rory in the water again. His round is falling apart.

My thoughts exactly - nearly afraid to say it on here!

Wouldn't exactly call it a meltdown just yet. That 10th is a very difficult hole. That bump shot by Reed just there was majestic.

DJ very lucky there. Surprised that stopped on the bank

Only watching this today for the first time. The course is borderline unfair in places...that shot by Rose earlier landing in the middle of the green, spinning a yard right and ending up in water was a joke.

    That's a meltdown

It is now! JP's fault probably.

Contrast Rory with Tiger who fought tooth and nail again over the first two days and now near the top. Things get rough for Rory and he loses the head. That bunker shot on 10 was throwing his hat at it

Who's to say Rory won't come back with a couple of birdies now and have a day tomorrow like tiger has today.

Matsuyama buried is putter head in the green about 5ft from the hole with players still to finish- it was so bad referees had to fix it- I would have him fooked out of the tournament.

I know, he might, its just frustrating to see him kinda slump over when he goes on a bad run of shots. He doesn't seem to have a way to get around when he loses his feel

Whatever people think about Tiger in interviews (never gives much) - when he talks about his round, Oh my god, his memory about his game is amazing. goes to show the level of thinking and speed of thinking when it comes to golf.
