Tesco individual Guinness Cans €1.04

    Was in tesco last night looking for a few cans of Guinness for the rugby at the weekend, They were advertising an 8 pack for €13 so I took a walk down to the regular shelves and spotted the individual cans for €1.04 but no big advertisement or yellow offer labels so picked myself up 12 cans for €12.48 whereas they wanted €13 for 8.

    No point in a new thread but they also have 6 x 330ml of Kooparberg Strawberry and Lime for €3.

    Maybe it's just an individual store getting rid of short dated stock ?

    I suspect that its either short-dated cans or cans split from a multi-pack that the offer is for - store specific.

    Can't check the date at the moment cause I'm in work and they weren't split there was a full shelf of them in mahon point last night.

    mahon point do offers like that quite often. use to do oharas stout for 1.79 a bottle when everywhere else was 2.79

    Not in my local Tesco, however a few backs they were 1.04 in single cans and they were not short dated, around the August mark.

    The date on them is September so not short dated either. Not that it would have mattered anyway, they'll be lucky to see Sunday never mind September.

    I think it's a typo. Check the price at till.
