I was there last year, took my 8 yr old son and my 3 yr old nephew. Both loved it. Its quite small but manageable for smallies - they loved it.

Food isn't the best though, expensive and its only sandwiches, so either take your own or eat elsewhere in the centre.

Any specific questions and I'll try to answer them

Thanks angeldaisy ~ I didn't even realise it existed until I was doing a search about Legoland.

I am writing on a post here about Legoland because I have a fanatic. I was wondering which would be more worth a visit.

When I intend to go my children will be 8, 6, 4 and 3.

    Have you been to Legoland?

if you can, go to Legoland in windsor. We did it the year before last, we stayed one night in the hotel - stupidly expensive but worth it for the experience. the other 2 nights we stayed in a travelodge!

We did 2 days in the park itself - great rides, the new Duplo water park is supposed to be amazing. There are some height restrictions for some of the rides, but there is still loads to do.

Wear really comfy shoes - loads of walking, either take poncho's or quick dry clothes - loads of water rides! Buy the refillable cup when you go in, we just bought one and shared it all day, all refills are free.

If you are going to buy lego stuff whilst there, do it in the morning and arrange to pick it up in the evening from the main shop. queues are horrendous in the evening to buy stuff and a lot of it will have gone. far easier to pick it up in the morning first thing.

    Hope that helps.

All of that advice is super, thanks

Can I also ask how you booked it, via a travel agent, through Lego land site or independently,?

we booked it through the legoland website. We visited whilst we were visiting family in the UK, so we didn't need to organise transport or anything.
