Nope, I don't imagine I'd enjoy taking the dirt road.

Arcade and Retro, how to go from a missing disk in a MGS3 box set to anal commentary in a couple of easy posts!

You know who you should be really asking that question to.... and it isn't me!

Go look in a mirror. :P

Did that, and the handsome devil who lives in mirror concurred, no rear window action for me thankyouverymuch.

But back to MGS3:Subsistence, Ebay suggests it around €26, not too expensive.
I have it and the MGS2 extended edition too, I'm sure they'll be worth something someday... Along with my ALF pogs...

The subsistance price bottomed out since the HD and Legacy collection came along with all the same extras, although I do believe the rather fun Ape Escape side mode is missing.

    That's really interesting to see.

I've heard people saying how X game will decrease in value once it's rereleased, but it never usually happens and the original items themselves still hold collector value.

I've never seen a price drop quite like this. The last time I was looking that game up (was probably about a year ago) it was in the region of €70 BIN. There's now one for £12.99

Interesting. You might want to get that warped and cracked mirror looked at! You'll take your eye out.

Has Earthbound dropped down at all since it got released on virtual console?

Be interesting to see if it did.

Ah, seems it's about $160 for a cart only. Similar figures with the ended auctions.

It's strange, some games drop in price while other retain there's. Subsistence really isn't as rare as some people make out which is probably why it dropped so much. Also it could be that the MGS rereleases are physical whereas a collector would be less interested in a digital release.

It better not drop. I don't want just any auld plebs in this club!

I haven't looked at this thread in a while and there are some lovely gets lately and it makes me sad.
Also was I the only one paying over the odds on Euro Pal snes stuff?

I'm debating about my next purchase, down to one a month now.
Bravely Default or Senran Kagura Burst?

Buy the latter and it'll be a different kind of 'bating you'll be doing ;)

I play Senran Kagura Burst for the characterisation of the girls and the excellent story. I'm not sure what you are insinuating.

    Tales of Vesperia?

I'm sure there is no single handed 3DS play going on, and it's the need that both hands be engaged in gameplay that is going to really hit the perve market share for Bayonetta 2!

And yet I'm the one with the reputation :P

    I'd go for Senran.

    Tales of Vesperia?

Tales of Vesperia got a reprint which is why the price tanked.

Pink Sweets and Muchi Muchi Pork dropped some when the region free version became readily available for the 360.

And,most notorious of all, Under Defeat HD.
Spare a thought for all those poor sad losers who imported it at great expense only to see their more canny peers buy it for a pittance when Rising Sun games published it in Europe.

Some of the 360 limited edition jap releases are stupidly overpriced for what you get.

That said the region locked version has extra features that make it worth it, to the shmup faithful at least.

This arrived at my desk in work yesterday. People are now making GBA backlights based on the ags-101 backlight, which means all the high-quality goodness without the guilt of gutting a relatively scarce handheld

I'd much prefer that model over an SP 101, way more comfy to use.

Worth every penny they are. The only bad point about them is they make your stock GBA's redundant. :)

Same as with the GB Micro I find it hard to mind the screen from scratches.
But it is a lovely thing.
Are there kits out there to do the conversion to an existing GBA?
