Any ideas where to ask to get this done?
I have an old pine door ,looking to cut it half ,length ways.
I presume hand saw is not good way to go?!
    Clueless female.

Handsaw will work. Skill-saw would be better. How perfect does the cut have to be ?

well,it should be straight ,as i need it to fit perfectly together at an angle.

Any carpenter / joiner will be able to do this. Get a recommendation for a tradesman from someone you trust and give them a call.

Out of interest, are you planning to hinge the 2 halves?

I'm planning to make a corner shelf out of it.
As far as I know it is solid pine.
