Was watching that the other day as well. He said Order the first time then Organisation twice after that. "You can go to hell Hulk Hogan". It's been pointed out here before but Heenan shouting "whose side is he on" at least twice when Hogan came out during the match was idiotic,.

Heenan made me cringe. The other commentator then said "What do ya mean who's side is he on?! Go get him Hogan!"

and Heenan followed it up with some other comment keeping the doubt going. Idiot!

In fairness to Heenan, he could have been feed those lines by someone from the back.

You have to realise back then Heenan always, always, ALWAYS accused Hogan of being a terrible person and nobody believed him because Hogan was the hero and Heenan was the villain. I bet you the absolute majority of people watching live thought Heenan was talking crap when he accused Hogan of switching sides.

People on twitter saying they are getting emails to say the network will be under maintenance for the next couple of hours. Only the On Demand stuff will be down I think.

Will NXT arrival be added to on demand tomorrow or do you have to watch it live?

Will be On Demand immediately following the show.

Only getting the intro video on chrome, there's a good 1-2 second sound/video sync issue on Firefox and IE won't even load the page.

Somebody doesn't want me to have this.

Going by twitter they are doing maintenance for the next couple of hours so hopefully everything might be working fine after.

Fair enough I haven't watched a lot of WCW from around then, I'm having a look at their PPVs on the network when I can.

Live stream keeps having the same problem today of an error message coming up around 5 mins into watching it like the on demand stuff.

The live stuff was working grand for me yesterday.

It's the biggest/most embarrassing example of when WCW didn't let announcers in on the storylines so he was saying it facetiously. Retrospectively it's one of the worst/most grating calls in the history of wrestling.

There's some great kayfabe heel commentary by Jesse Ventura on Hogan at WrestleMania V, really recommend checking it out. Lust Hogan!

Anyone have an idea how to download videos from the WWE Network, similar to how you can with youtube videos? I have tried the youtube "downloaders" but none of those work. Thanks

    RTMPdump.

Never used, just seen others mention it on my private wrestling torrent tracker.

    I don't agree.

When looking back on it in isolation it looks bad, but at the time Heenan had been getting at Hogan for ages winding everyone up by saying Hogan was bad and was doing stuff for nefarious reasons (and Heenan bigging up the heels always taking their side, even teasing coming put of retirement as a manager for Flair to help beat Hogan). Heenans commentary at bash at the beach was in keeping with what he had been doing for ages so it didnt spoil it, had Heenan been cheering Hogan it would have looked odd. I dont think it spoiled it at all (at the time) because he had been saying nasty stuff about Hogan for ages, plus it was so incomprehensible that Hogan would turn

    It fit Heenans character perfectly.

People who complain about it clearly don't understand that or what the dynamic was between Heenan and babyfaces back then.

So, "you don't agree = you clearly don't understand." Less of that condescension please.

Indicating a heel turn before a heel turn is not good, IMO, regardless of his character at the time.

I think MM means that Heenan didnt know that the heel turn was planned, therefore when Heenan was just in typical form for the time (running down Hogan, siding with Heels) and unwittingly gave it away.

Though it was all in retrospect, at the time it didnt strike me as odd as i never thought in a million years that Hogan would turn heel and thought Heenans unintetional spoiler was just typical Heenan bring himself towards Hogan.

Has anyone seen the Chris Benoit warning yet I've seen a few PPV now and haven't seen any warning just the TV 14 Violence 5 second clip at the start.

It just says that the performers in the ring are playing a character, and that who they portray is not who they really are, or something to that effect.

I'm actually not sure how it works regarding the sign up, still using the free trial.

Permission to use the settings, I think.

If you simply change your DNS settings to Unblock-US DNS, then nothing will happen.

What you are signing up for (and after the week's trial, paying for) is access to their DNS servers.

Their system will recognise your IP address and then allow you to use their DNS servers. If you don't sign up, then it won't recognise your IP address, and well you won't have access.

Since I don't see the Xbox issue being fixed for a while, and the fact that I get paid tomorrow, I think I'm going to break down finally get a Roku 3. I've been wanting a way to use the Network, Netflix and YouTube without having to buy a subscription to Xbox Live anyway.
