the weird thing is, I have this strange feeling of.....ok its not happiness but a sort of.....um....I dont know. Its like, I feel a bit fuzzy and not as cranky as normal. And I think the weather is eh...nice today and you know, I'm "glad" for some things like being alive and having a job and stuff....

sigh...I'll just take myself off for treatment before I infect everyone else and come back when I resume crank mode. I'm sure its just a temporary glitch. Probably brought on by a completely uneventful and non-annoying bus ride today.....

edit: i cant take this much longer. I've a pain where my face cracked from smiling at someone and there are lollipops and rainbows and dancing babies around me :( make it stop!!!!!!!!

Maybe I caught a disease from the trivial things that make you h*ppy thread??

just to get back on track :P

when you're half watching something on youtube, and then something interesting happens, and draws your attention back to it, so you rewind to catch it fully. But you rewind too far... and drift off, and miss it again (and again!)

Men wearing suit trousers, shirts tucked in and NO belts. Seriously lads, cop on, not a good look!

But... but... if being annoyed makes us happy, and being happy makes us annoyed, then... <Goose flops back in his chair while the Universe disappears up his hole in a rush of painful logic...>

<AHEM> Trivial annoyance: paradoxes (paradoxii?? paradoxEN???) that can potentially tear Spacetime a new one if they aren't carefully and politely ignored.

When people say 'consult with' - it's consult.
When people say 'meet with' - it's meet. I hear those two almost every day on the news. Can't stand it.

Also the words impact, access and gift are nouns, not verbs. Something does not 'impact' something else, it has an impact on something, rather. You do not 'access' something, you gain or get access to it. And you most certainly should never 'gift' somebody with something, you should give them a gift.

Or worse again, colleagues who clip their nails at YOUR desk. I found what looked like a large toenail clipping on my desk one morning a couple of years ago. I don't know whose it was. BARF.

Ok you win, that is vile!!

Passive aggressive spouses. It seems I've done something, no idea what, but somethings off. I hate the way these things go. How do you fix 'it' when you don't know what IT is:confused:

Sometimes I get annoyed with my partner, but don't want to tell him why because talking about it only makes me angrier. So I take some me time to get some space, that way it doesn't escalate, and he doesn't get picture no sound.

Sometimes I just need 20 minutes to realise I'm overreacting, and then I'm straight in for a cuddle :o

There's an expression people use that I really hate, kind of best summed up with an example.

Someone I know posted a picture of their dinner and said "Good chilli is good".

Such a bland, inane waste of words, really hate this type of thing. Saw another version recently "apt username is apt".

WTF does that actually mean :mad:

Jennifer Lawrence's desperation to be seen as regular and quirky and fun. Much like a younger Emma Thompson.

People correcting ME when I pronounce MY name!
It usually happens after they ask me to spell it.
Some of them even have the cheek to say "Are you sure?".

yeah but do you pronounce you name oddly? say Ciara and call yourself Keyara or something or the classic example of Hyacinth Bucket being pronounced 'bookay'....
