What is the least stressful job in the world?

    I was thinking about this recently.... how some jobs pay higher becuase of more stress or higher responsibility... but then, a lot of jobs don't pay particularly well but still come with their stresses and annoyances - dealing with a-hole customers and managers if you work on a supermarket checkout, or dealing with drunk a-holes if you're a bouncer or taxi driver.

    But this then means that there are some jobs which don't pay well but are just totally chilled and you can float though your day on a laid back buzz.....

    So what do you think are the least stressful jobs? 'Park warden', Train Driver and 'guy who restocks vending machines' all spring to mind. Any others?

    Train driver? That's a high stress job in truth.
    When you think low stress jobs I would think assembly line workers, people who just have to put nut "a" onto screw "b" would be low down on the stress scale.....but probably go insane from boredom

    University library security guard, mine watches tv on his computer all night.

    Washing up the breakfast stuff at my leisure, taking the dog for a walk and then going fishing
    It's the best job I ever had. Stress is a dim and distant memory from the rat race days. Oh retirement it is lads!

    That for those guys who drive the vans behind motorway grass margin cutters. Sitting in a van all day reading a paper and moving the van a couple of hundred meters every half hour.

    I've done it and while it's so easy a retarded monkey could do it, there is stress involved cos there are targets to meet and it can get stressful if you are behind on your target and you've a jumped up little prick of a team leader urging you to go faster!!

    I always think a toll booth operaterative would have a fairly stress free job. Stick you hand out for money every 30seconds or so, maybe give a little change. How stressful could that be?
