I was kind of hoping Johnson would have to work to get he place back. He wasn't exactly pulling up trees before he's injury. And cissokho has done alright lately.

That's if Aldo's team is correct.

Hodgson was given no money in his first window.

Guts of £20 mil on konchesky poulsen & meireles.

    Joe Coles huge contract.

Cost of hiring Hodgson and his coaches

Cost of firing Rafa and his coaches.

Apart from meireles, Looking at £40 odd million wasted that Summer.

That's a kick to the nads for Flanno.

I'm sure Rodgers will pull him aside and explain it to him. If Johnson is fully fit and ready then I think it's the right decision to make the change

Ah so Johnson in for Ciss? Will wait to see the lineup confirmed anyway.

Looking forward to see what Johnson can offer, he's been a mixed bag but I read that he was saying he feels better than he has done in a long time

    from BBC
    Birmingham boss Lee Clark:

On loan signing Jordon Ibe from Liverpool: "Not bad is he? Not bad. Power, pace.

"We've done unbelievable to get him, I've got to thank (Liverpool manager) Brendan Rodgers. I've pestered him to get him.

"There were so many other clubs in for him.

"So hopefully this reputation I've got where I can do not-too-bad things with these big clubs' young players is helping us get the edge over some of my rivals, in terms of trying to help them on in their development.

    "I'm so excited by him."

McLeish, then Hughton then Clarke for a season or so.

Damn it! Why are we giving Jonjo so much Space?

Always wondered whether we will regret moving Shelvey on. Not saying we should just because of that goal but he does have something about him. Incredible finish though.

We should replace Coutinho with Allen in the 2nd Half.

Cou's been Asleep and we're too Open in the Middle.

    Twas thinking the same myself.

Agree with that, Coutinho and Gerrard are not exactly a good mix under pressure. A bit like Gerrard and Shelvey a couple of seasons ago. Lucas should be back in two games/weeks, whichever comes first.

I actually think Cou has been ok in attacking terms. But along with the rest of the midfield, we're too casual in getting back to defend.

Cou has been Good in Defending, in the past couple of Games. Just not this Game though.

He kinda seems Lackadaisical right now. Like he's running, on an Empty Tank. Unlike before, where he was Pure Energy.

Skertel and Agger must be two of the worst defenders in the league.

    We are incredibly ****.

To score 3 goals at home against the likes of Swansea and not be comfortably ahead is utterly atrocious.

We are doing it the hard way

Can't take much more of these games.

Our defense needs to learn composure.

  • Site Banned Posts: 26,456 ✭✭✭✭Nuri Sahin

Well that was fun in I'd like a heart attack fun kinda way.

An ugly win but ill take it :D

Allen has been Good, when he came on.

Brendan should have subbed Cou, instead of Sterling. Without Sterling, we lose our Pacy Outlet out Front.

Seriously enough just ENOUGH of this stuff!

Lucas might be back for the next game which is against Soton who will MURDER us on the counter if we see this shambles again. Thankfully if Liverpool survive that there is a two week break after which hopefully Suarez will be recharged - he is clearly running on fumes by the end of games.

We got away with that. Joe Allen played 30 mins and was head and shoulders our best player today.

Really needed 3 points there with a very tricky away game at Southampton to come. You'd have to be a bit worried about that one.
