Having a discussion last night about this thread and there was a few different views about it, I do not want to come across as if I am waiting for the guy to fail but alot if not all of it is down to pure luck, simple as that for me.

Unless you get info about a certain horse then every time you back it you are guessing whether it is trying or not,
other views were that he has a knack of skill for reading the races, don't want to knock anyone but I really think the word "skill" should not be used in studing form for horse racing.

Anyway I am up nearly 2k following him so whatever it is I hope it stays with him.

Great tipping so far, have only backed one horse but long may it continue.

    cheers pinesky,

yes, hawaii501 good tipping so far but judging by his results for the last three years he must have got an unexpected flyer this year but todays placed bet take me a little past the 2k mark so thats great for me but anyone thinking of joining in now should bear in mind the auld saying

if you were not at the wedding don't go to the funeral,

His performance so far has been outstanding

Judging by the results I think its safe to say he's most likely a +EV punter. Based on that I think he'll continue to achieve +ive RoI, just not as high as has been the case so far

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,304 ✭✭✭del roy

    yes colonel I agree
as I said he must be really pleased with the start he got although he has never said when he went -18pts he must have been cursing himself for starting this thread.

Can I also add that he texts me the bets I never talk to him but I must admit I did not think there would be so many bets.
35 in just over two months and don't forget he took some time out, I just think if he hits a losing run that 84pts will disappear fairly quick.

I know he reads this thread and I hope he does not take my ramblings on here as slagging his way of betting but anyone who can make money as easy as he seems to on horse racing interests me (and my pocket)

Yeah, great thread, think someone should open a book on how many points he finishes on.

Are the odds he's backing at consistently beating sp by a decent margin? That might look a simplistic method of ensuring profit but it's the most accurate. By sp time (betfair sp at least) the market has generally righted itself. Someone who constantly beats that price by a decent margin will profit. Granted there are people who can back and win in the 5 mins before the off, but they are few and far between

Yes hulk some shorten, some don't but a few lads thought some of it maybe info
Ref..mr marker the other day last two races pulled up pulled up and then he picks it the night before 14/1 into 8/1, some guess that one.
