Very old stone building - Unused but a landmark as its very large.

Beside Ashtown station - roof was damaged recently in the winds and some slates are missing - hole seems to be getting bigger - Its a nice old building - shame to see it destroyed for lack for a few slates.

Would anyone know who owns it - to let them know before the roof is waterdamaged and un-repairable? In case they dont know.

Its the building that had the huge bronze clock stolen from the front of it couple years ago.

Tbh the owners probably don't care or have the resources to do anything about it. See the Aldborough House case.

As far as I know it was a mill, there used to be sidings off of the railway serving it. Seems to be called Ashtown Oil Mills on older maps.

It was a mill alright and has been derelict for donkeys years - I'm living around here 21 years and it's been empty and falling apart since I came here. It's been exposed to the elements a long time now.

You could try contact Fingal Co. Co. AFAIK if its a listed building the owners are obliged to keep the building from falling into further disrepair.

I like it...go in Google Street View link and pan to the right side...you'll see the people to call for assistance ... :)
