Jack Wilshere to be shown a card... 7/5 6 yellow cards so far this season and will be pumped for this game.

No time for a write up but I'll be taking the double of atleti and Bayern.
Milan are a poor side now and they have been unconvincing lately and I don't think Arsenal are playing well at the moment and I don't see a lot of goals in the side esp against a team of the caliber of Bayern.

25 quid on at 3/1. GL all

Player for player that Bayern in team is streets ahead of that Arsenal team. As good as Arsenal's record has been this season I dont think they are any way capable of beating Bayern tonight. Bayern DnB is too short so it looks like I'm on Bayern tonight.... I'll double it with Milan and Madrid BTTS (which is a very nice evens)

It was just a year ago that Bayern Munich eliminated Arsenal in the same round of the Champions League. Arsenals previous tactic was to score a quick goal and then stacked the back to pull out a win in Germany (2-0). Arsenal, however, have been wildly improved this year, and they will be anxious to put that on display against Bayern Munich and show off their strong home defense against one of the best attacks in world football which is slightly weakened tonight by the absence of Ribery however in the Bundesliga they have 19 wins and two draws from their 21 matches but on the flip side with Cazorla and Ozil, Arsenal have the midfield magicians who can unlock the German strongbox which they will almost certainly have to do as Bayern have averaged 2.5 goals away from home this season, the highest in Europe’s top five leagues and Bayern have had the most shots on target in the Champions League this season: 54 (that's 35 more than Arsenal with 19).

Arsenal have kept 5 clean sheets in their last 8 Champions League matches however Munich have scored at least 2 goals in all except one of their champions league matches this season and will put that defense to the test and draw Arsenal into a fight they can handle having scored in all but one of their Champions League matches this season.

Bayern To Score 2 or 3 Goals @ 2.1 (Ladbrokes)

I would expect a 50%+ long term ROI of this bet. Good night. Great football.

No worries thought it was a decent bit of value considering the price elsewhere watch out for those headline offers do them on every game ozil was 10/1 in ladbrokes 20/1 in hills with the offer Costa 2/1 7/2 hills avaible in store and online not advertised very well so unless u know about them won't see them usually never have them advertised at all or very little in store but are avaible I always check online and back in store

    Tonights Bets:

Diego Costa Wincast @2.1/1 :D - Man has been on fire of late.. Athletico playing good football and personally think they are much stronger than the current Milan side.

Munich -2 @17/4  - Arsenal wont have a chance again this Munich team.

1 out of 2 aint bad and I was very happy I got the Bayern game pretty right. Should have been 3-0 with that shot off the post but also Arsenal could have got that peno so whatever.

    Profitable night. :):):)

Yeah maybe. Arsenal were certainly the better side at that point.

I'm just trying to make myself feel better ;)

just looking towards the weekend , and I notice
Crystal Palace 29/10 Double chance , at home to an indifferent man u team ,

i think Palace under Pulis are very difficult to score against, and can get a result in this one
there 5/1 for an outright win.

Taking the early price on Danny Ings anytime scorer @ 7/5 (bet365). Best price around for the one of the best strikers in the championship. Gunning for the top scorer McCormack, generally scores at least 1 at home and Forest are looking leaky atm. Looks a steal at those odds

Lass, if your online anytime between now and tomorrow...what do you make of angers double chance at 8/11 I think it could be the value bet of the weekend along with palace double chance of they have a relatively fit squad!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,994 ✭✭✭Trimm Trabb

Liverpool ht/ft and Liverpool -1 at home to Swansea this weekend is currently 8/11.

Obviously liverpools form and the stats point towards these bets coming in but given that Swansea have such a big game tonight and the hangover that often follows on the Sunday after European games and I think these are good prices.

I'd imagine prices will be smaller by Sunday so getting on it now with quite a large bet.

Serrero and Boilesen are definitely out.

A good guess for the lineup would be:

Cillessen, Van Rhijn, Veltman, Moisander, Duarte, Klaassen, Blind, De Jong, Schone, Bojan, Fischer.

Odds rising from 1.73 to 2.4 so there is news there that is not in the public domain yet I think. Wait for lineups.

Lyon are sending an extremely weak squad to Odessa for their Europa League game!

Gorgelin, Vercoutre - N'Gouma, Sarr, Tolisso, Bisevac, Zeffane, Koné - Fekir, Tsimba, Mvuemba, Malbranque, Ferri, Bahlouli, Danic - Briand, Ghezzal, N'Jie

This is basically their youth team, the bolded players are first teamers... Vercoutre is the back up GK and he sucks, Zeffane, Mvuemba and Danic are first teamers but get little playing time usually.

    Chernomorets Odessa DNB @ 1.83
    Chernomorets double chance @ 1.45

Lyon did the same thing vs Rijeka : http://int.soccerway.com/matches/2013/11/07/europe/uefa-cup/hnk-rijeka/olympique-lyonnais/1584789/
the difference is that now there's no Gourcuff in the team so they're even weaker, also I rate the Ukrainian league higher than the Croatian league and Chernomorets have a good record at home.

Any more info on this , we still on Odessa?

That could well be the team indeed.

Dont think Frank de Boer will have plans to play a weakened team, nothing i nthe Dutch press pointing to that.

Just a matter of bookie overestimating Ajax/underestimating RB.

Sure Ajax beat Barca but RB are no mugs and i think the bookies copped on to that.

Lyon : Vercoutre - Tolisso, Bisevac, Sarr, B.Koné - Zeffane, Ferri, Malbranque, Mvuemba - Danic, Briand

it's a very weak team honestly, Tolisso and Zeffane are both right back, so it seems they have 2 right backs on the right flank... Danic is a left winger I doubt he'll play upfront, especially since Mvuemba is a defensive midfielder, so it looks like a 4-5-1 with Briand up front... most of these players have as much experience in Europe as Odessa - none.

I wish I knew more about Odessa cuz if this was a Ligue 1 game I'd go very big on Lyon's opponents.

actually Lyon are playing with 5 at the back https://scontent-a-ams.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-prn2/t1/1924429_433422760121633_1627053397_n.jpg

I don't like to bet on Ligue 2 cuz any team can beat any team imo, and I haven't watched any of these teams in a while, so I'll just tell you what I've read on this game:
    - Auxerre have lost only one game at home this season
    - their chairman went into the locker room for the first time this season at the end of their last game, it was reported that he was furious cuz they had lost again
    - Angers are without Auriac and Konaté

    L Insigne @ 5/2
    Anytime Goalscorer
    Swansea v Napoli

Scored a brace in the last game and he's class on Football Manager 2014.

they played 11 friendlies against decent teams to prepare for this game and won 10 of them - http://www.oddsportal.com/search/results/P2284/

Plzen's coach left to take charge of the Czech national team

Looking at the Europa and a team who have caught the eye this season is Red Bull Salzburg.

13 pts clear in the Austrian Bundesliga with a GD of +55 in 23 matches.

14 goals in their last 5 away games, scored 3 away to Standard Liege who are 10pts clear in Belgium.

First game back after the Winter break they won 6-0 at home and then beat Sturm Graz away 4-1.

Of course the Austrian league is obviously weak.

They have their league wrapped up so they will fancy themselves to have a go at EL progression away to Ajax.

1/3 for Salzburg to score 1 goal or more appeals big time.
13/8 for Salzburg to score 2 or more also.

Alan with 18 goals in 20 domestic games and 4 goals in 7 EL games anytime goalscorer 11/4.

Soriano has 17 goals in 15 league games also. 1 of these 2 always seem to score.

Ajax's defence has been impressive at home this year but it all depends on team selection.

If they can nick a score draw in Amsterdam, I will be backing them big in the second leg at home where they've scored 42 goals in 11 games.

There ye have it lads; Salzburg 2-0 up after 26mins! Soriano on the scoresheet. Very very impressive
