Mine did the same until I plugged it into another tv. It was to do with 1080I support vs 720. Afair, it worked only when I used the hd tv and then I could see the settings to change to 720 for the other tv

    hey :)

just got one of these today

    http://www.focalprice.com/EH0077B/UG007_Android_411_RK3066_DualCore_CortexA9_16_GHz_8G_Video_Player.html

i've hooked up the usb power and the hdmi but there's no display?

i tried a few different cables and tvs??

the blue light comes on when i hook up the usb power and that's it

nothing on the pc either for mass storage?

is there anything else i need to check? thanks

Are your USB delivering 5V 500mAh??

    I have seen this:

    http://www.w2comp.com/itm/672665/74585/HD-Media-Players/Android-TV-Box/UG007-Dual-Core-RK3066-Mini-Android-4-1-Jelly-Bean-PC-Cortex-A9-1GB-RAM-8G-ROM-HDMI-Bluetooth-UG007
    Power

powered via USB cable / Power charger (5V 2A)

Current of TV: should be ≥500mAh(5V), when lower than 500mAh, external power supply to the TV box is needed

    Also, check out:

    http://www.freaktab.com

Lot's of info, ROMs, etc there in RK3066 section!!

    ok thanks guys:)

i tried it on 2 displays but they're both 720p max

    would that be the problem??

but shouldn't it show up on the pc as mass storage or something??

usb power isn't the problem as i have quite a few leads and mains plugs

Find a full hd telly with any of your friend or family, hook it on, set the screen resolution in the stick setting to 720p.

Once that's done it will work fine with your telly. I have seen quite a few cases where this sorts out the display issue.

By default all the Android boxes and sticks are set to 1080p display, which your telly is unable to process.
