    Hi,
I am a BOI Visa card account holder. My wife is a secondary card holder. She knows (and uses) her 'point of sale' PIN but is unsure whether the same PIN will work if she wants to use it to withdraw cash when abroad. Is it the same PIN for each activity and if so, does she need to do anything to activate ATM use on the card? thanks.

    Hi Fingallian,

    Thanks for getting in touch.

On credit and debit cards, the four digit PIN used to confirm transactions at point of sale is used at ATMs for cash withdrawals. If the card has been used at point of sale, it is ready to use at ATMs.

    Thanks
    Tara
