I'm starting to get the, "33? You don't look 33!" compliments which always amuses me. THIS IS WHAT 33 LOOKS LIKE, MAAAAN!! Am I supposed to be all wrinkly, bent over and decrepit with support tights and a blue rinse at this age? People mean well, obviously, but what idea do they have in their heads of a 33-year-old woman?

Two most common compliments:

You have nice eyes,

You have a nice bum/Your bum looks great in those jeans/You have a very toned bum/ I wish my bum was like yours (my little sister said this to me, awkward).

Haha I got that Saturday night. My friend and I were out and another friend we've known for quite a while like, had absolutely no idea we were "that old"

he insisted we must be taking the piss!

Same friend (female one) commented on an 11 year old photo of me yesterday and said I hadn't aged a day. Scooooooore \o/

Strange feeling having that said to you when you still think you're a young wan! I've a few friends who are younger than me here (late 20s) and they all insisted I look great for someone who was turning 34. I felt feckin' ancient!

I don't look younger than my years though and think I do actually look my age (which I really have no problem with as I don't think I look any older) but I think it's just a case of chung wans thinking 33 is over the hill. Jeeeaysus.
