    Celebrities whose careers are going nowhere that "come out" in the hope of increasing their popularity. That stunt is gonna get old too very quickly.

    Anyway, couldn't care less about Ellen Page, for a minute there my heart sank as I thought it was Elaine Paige... Phew, still hope! :D

    I'm not fan of Page's but going nowhere isn't how you'd describe her career, she was the face of a pretty big video game release recently and is in the new X-Men movie.

    Shore, if it was easy, everybody would be doin it.😁

    Alternator belt and tensionors and something else. I can't remember what and I don't want to look at the invoice again as it will only put me in bad form.

    Coming out is a huge risk to an acting career. That's why almost none of them do it - especially not when they're young. She's only 26. I don't believe that she did it to increase her popularity. Especially not when she's in the upcoming X-Men movie. That's kind of as big a profile as it gets.

    I remember an interview Stephen Fry did with that actor Neil Patrick Harris about being a gay actor in Hollywood. NPH had said that he'd been under pressure from the studio and his agent not to be openly gay as they believed it would hurt his career. As far as I recall, and I may be wrong about this but isn't there a gay group/organisation that tries to out gay celebrities to further their cause?

    I'm pretty sure there are way more openly gay men in acting than there are openly gay women though.

    Anyway, either way, it's still a massive step to take.
