    Hi ,

(mods delete if needs to be) , I was wondering has anyone here signed up to any Torrent VPN service - I was looking at https://torrentprivacy.com.

I was wondering would I get my max speed with these guys ?
of course the speed of the torrent is a different matter since it's based on P2P.

    Thanks

I'm with Private Internet Access. I get almost my full 10Mb when I turn on the VPN. You need to use an American company because America doesn't have data retention laws. Other countries do not have them either, but I can't remember who they are.

Be warned, though, if you sign up to a monthly subscription, they'll continue charging you for the next month until you cancel.

They don't have retention laws because they have a live wiretap on everything.

Thanks, but you could be still getting a slow download due to the torrent ?
IS there a way of getting a faster torrent dl ? higher seeding ??

even when I get a high seed I still get maybe 500 KB/sec MAX,
with newsgroups I'm getting my max BB speed ~1.8 MB/sec ..

There are many Torrent VPN service providers which based on p2p technology.. I'd recommend the http://www.bestvpnservice.com/blog/best-p2p-torrent-vpn here you can see the list of VPN providers and check their speed

A VPN is very different to a server,
Please keep p2p discussions to the megathread
