Air gun vs feral hogs

    Baffled when I seen it. Surely it's cheaper to get a high powered rifle for them.
    First of all the size of the air gun is more like a cannon.
    Second the pigs seem more domestic than feral

    Hope he has a good dog for the day he doesn't nick an artery, 430 grains and shag all expansion. Horses for courses and all that but it doesn't float my boat.

    Just as a triviality on the side, high powered air rifles aren't all that new. I remember watching Bargain Hunt one day and your man Wannacot was showing an air rifle used by the Austrians during the Napoleonic wars used by the then equivalent of a sniper. The French didn't consider it all that sporting and the story had that
    they just killed any enemy captured inn possession of such a rifle.
