Talk of Stoke and Swans game off too (twitter).

    Wouldn't really affect me.

If the SSN lads arent even bothering to suggest games will be called off then the chances must be low....

Don't know where I heard it but Twitter has just been bought by a Chinese businessman Mr. Win D

I think people need to stop believing twitter until it is confirmed by reputable sources not chinese whispers. ffs

Was clearly speculative information. No harm done.

Twitter rumours that the game has been called off. Nothing from the official City twitter though.

I'll be playing Ward instead of Yaya so not too bad.

Yoshida and puncheon off the bench for me

This is the point where I have to lament having Wes Brown and Gnabry on my bench. I'm definitely down to 10 men and it'll be 9 if Gnabry doesn't come on (which I suspect). Thank god for 34 points last night.

Should have been called off hours ago, fans shafted once again. At least it saves us getting a pasting.

Are Everton and stoke near Manchester?

What was the official reason for being called off? Any other games at risk?

Manchester City's game against Sunderland has been called off because conditions are deemed unsafe, with a red warning for wind in place for the North West.

if it is because of the red warning, then surely Everton/stoke would be off as well?

You couldn't call the game off hours before when there'd be every chance the wind might have died down enough for the game to be played.

Felt like such an idiot all day having opted for kevin nolan over any man city midfielder, feel a lot better now. However dzeko not playing means its assaidi or ten men for me

Stoke Premier League game against Swansea at the Britannia Stadium is to go ahead as planned as it stands but delayed kickoff to 8pm.

    ... not that anyone cares.

  • Man City players as C and VC.

    :(

Not only do I lose Yaya and David Silva (with only Gabbidon possibly coming off the bench), but if both Barkley and Januzaj don't get off the bench then 2nd in my private league gets James Collins off his bench
