Down to 9 players for the game week inc bench. Whittingham on bench who didnt play either, ditto Terry, other sub Ward.

Gave Sturridge the (c) this week.

Was going nicely too with rise to 10k from 45k last few weeks, could get scuppered.

The games off kind of work in my favor. Ben Turner, Chambers and Delph off the bench with 19 points. Wonder if Silva, Kompany and Mirallas would have scored that much.

My main rival in a paid league has to be the jammiest ****er ever, he has Coleman, Zabaleta and Yaya, with Yoshida 3rd sub coming on with 6 points. A few weeks ago he had him 3rd sub and he came on then also. FFS!

Only 3 playing tonight, but on the plus side 39 from 5 last night took me to a season high of 3.7K and 2nd above rory in a league :P

I forgot to put Marshal in ahead of Speroni, was hoping all day that some miracle might happen and Speroni won't play for some reason. Cant believe it actually happened. Tis a bit bittersweet though as I only have 9 playing, though Assaidi could come off the bench as a 10th player

Mirallas was on the bench anyway (Team sheet was out before the game got cancelled)

I laughed earlier that my rival left Chambers on the bench. As second sub. He says he'll need an act of God to get him on the pitch. F**k you God. My team has been f**king decimated and he can field 11. Haven't even checked yet but reckon I'll be lucky to field 8.

Not gonna lie, feeling fairly bitter about people who didn't do their team properly and get away with an advantage, whereas I prepare my team meticulously and lose Silva, Dzeko, Toure and Ward without these massive scoring players on the bench that people forgot to play.

Yep, just checked. I'm down 6 players from those two games, probably knocks me out of the Cup and will give back about 20 hard fought points I've clawed back against my rival. What an absolute disaster. 3/4 subs are gone so I don't even have any backup.

There was a worse one during the 2010-11 season. Absolute chaos for GW 18 before Christmas due to the heavy snow on Britain and Ireland. GW average was 14 !!!!!!
I remember it because I discovered the game that very season (started from GW 11) and was stuck in Ireland for Christmas a couple of days later.
