I have a three year old daughter
She loves fireman Sam and jake and the never land pirates
She loves sports and climbing frames and is far more tomboyish than her older sister ever was
Should I consider a name change to something more masculine and throw out all her dresses in favour of trousers

Maybe she's trans and I've missed the signals?
Or maybe this kids parents are nuts

At three if my lady is asked what she is she will tell you human not boy or girl she doesn't really get the concept that there is a difference

There's been naked and then there's been naked, one is just getting changed the other is like a peacock and that's the one people take a dislike to.

Some people would be concerned with adults being naked around children they don't know. There nothing wrong with it but were not living in that kind of society.

Do you really think parents of trans kids are just flinging them in pants or dresses for ****s and giggles? I doubt I will ever know but from my experience knowing your child is trans is a pretty painful thing. There's going to be doctors, psychiatrists, psychologists and therapists involved. It's not a whim, it's something that takes a lot of people coming to an informed decision.

In general but there are always people who will go against the grain to the extreme just to make a point. Fwiw I think there should be a minimun age where the child is independently evaluated before any decision is taken.

Do you know you have male chromosomes? There's lots of people who have atypical chromosomal structures who will never find out. Some do find out when they try to have children, others never find out and go through their lives not ever knowing that they're not chromosomaly male or female.

If medical professionals determine that a child is transgendered then I see no problem with that child being dressed accordingly if it's the child's choice. If the child's parents do it to further some agenda that they hold or against the child's will then there's a problem in my eyes.

That used to happen a lot with the doctor's support. Intersex children were born, had surgeries performed on them and were forced into one gender role, rather than being left to decide as they got older. It's happening less and less but it still happens.

So really, the case is actually that children were being forced to be "normal" rather than being forced to be trans. There's a lot of scaremongering getting things backwards.

Yea actually. Some parents are that irresponsible/misguided. Tbf I'd have that below abuse in terms of poor parenting and that is documented to happen.

I ****ing love how there's all this concern about parents forcing their children to be trans and not one iota about parents forcing their kids to be cis. Like it's totally normal for parents to force their children to be a gender they're not while trans kids telling their parents they're not the gender everyone presumes them to be is the strange thing.

What is wrong with it? I'm simply posing and similar question that you did regarding nakedness and followed up with a sense of superiority that someone would hold a differing opinion. Your refusal to properly engage paints you as the flip side of the blinkered conservative or a wum.
