Can't wait for the Monaco vs PSG game

knowing Blanc and given that the winner will have a tremendous advantage for the rest of the season, it should be a clear underish game, I'll post a bet when I see the line ups.
Under 2.5 in Monaco vs PSG @ 1.72

    PSG 2-1 @ 7.75
    Monaco 2-1 @ 10.00

Nice. My only winner today, but a nice one that fixes quite a few wrongs!

After athletico slipping up last night great chance for Barcelona to close the gap and at 4/7 even money for messi wincast I think it has to be taken against a Sevilla side that from what I have seen struggle to defend against poorer sides

Real sociedad also play at home to a average levante side there are a brilliant side at home and score a lot of goals with Antonio griezzman in the form of his life the straight win at 4/9 is to be taken and griezzman anytime wincast at 13/10

Spurs play a Everton side with massive injury problems that got battered by Liverpool in there last away game and narrowly got past a average villa side with a late winner I feel this is spurs biggest game of the season and one they really need to win to keep in touch with the top 4 I rate spurs highly and think there midfield could dominate Everton who look a tired jaded side to me with adebayor back to his old self and no lukaku providing a focal point in attack for Everton I fancy Tottenham to come out on top at 11/10 and adebayor wincast at 3/1 too

Quite possibly the biggest game in French football takes place tonight between psg and Monaco it is a game of great importance to both sides and a chance for psg to really put the league to bed and psg possess the big game players to do just that with all the money Monaco have spent I'm still not convinced by them and don't think they are a great side and think there defence could be exposed by the pace of Lucas moura lavezzi and the class of zlatan ibrahimovic so the 5/4 on psg has to be taken along with the ibra wincast at 2/1

A lot has been documented of Manchester uniteds struggles this season but with the addition of Juan mata and getting robin van persie and Wayne Rooney fit I have a feeling they are about to put a run together to get back in the hunt for chsmpions league football at 2/9 to beat the worst side in the league IMO there short enough but forecast a big win they have been threading to dish out all year will chance the -2 at 6/4 and mata wincast at. 7/5

That's my thoughts on today's games sorry for the long post my bets are as follows

    Large stake singles on
    Tottenham win
    United -2
    Psg win

    Medium stake on
    Adebayor wincast
    Messi wincast

    And a fun Acca of
    Adebayor wincast
    Mata wincast
    Griezzman wincast
    Ibra wincast
    Messi wincast
    130/1

Not. Bad day in profit overall would of been great if psg won can't complain

Fancy Munchen 1860 tonight -1. Wouldnt take this bet only that I am getting it at 4/1 and I was at their game vs Union Berlin and liked their style so definitely value there coming back from a 3-0 win.

back to the assist market again for me (boyles only)
can't understand how suarez is 9/4 for an assist
    away to fulham

3 singles + treble, main bet on suarez
    suarez anytime assist 9/4
    mata anytime assist 3/1
    benteke anytime assist 7/2

4 in last 4 for luis, should have plenty of chances
to extend this against the worst defence in the league in fulham and
with pool having an extra days rest and fulham being run ragged
by utd I just think liverpool have an awful lot in their favour

Mata 3 in last 3, like that price even though utd have
been awful lately they have still scored in 11 of their 12
    games away from home
I really fancy them to score against arsenal so again hopefully
mata will be the provider yet again

Adding benteke to the list at 7/2 as I think it's big away
to cardiff who have been awful lately having lost 5 of their last 6
    conceded 14 goals
Benteke has 2 assists in his last 3
I just hope the most unpredictable team in the league turn up and
If they do they will surely score

I think Arsenal are good price 11/10 at the Emirates to beat United. No doubt Arsenal will want to hit back after the horror show at Anfield. United have been poor all season and I dont see how thats going to change against Arsenal

Agree that Arsenal should win but United have a great record against them, as seen earlier this season. BTTS for me.

4 wins 5 losses and 2 draws for Levante away 2nd half,Real Sociedad have great Home form 2nd half.A couple of injury worries for both sides and the last meeting finished 0-0 but Real 2nd half@1.83 looks ok.

    French Cup tomorrow:
Under 2.5 in Balagne Ile Rousse (5th division) vs Guingamp (Ligue 1) @ 1.72

Ile Rousse knocked out Bordeaux in the previous round (0-0 after 120 min, they won on penalties). Ile Rousse are a Corsican team and it's always hard to win in Corsica. The Ile Rousse coach rested most of his regular players in the last couple of league games, to prepare for this game. Guingamp have a very important game at the weekend and I wouldn't be surprised if their coach rotated his squad a little for this game.

I was more confident about unders in the Bordeaux game cuz the game was played in a smaller stadium with a smaller pitch, and now they'll have to play on a larger pitch, which should be advantage for Guingamp, but I still think it won't be easy for Guingamp.

That seems to be the reason alright. At work so didnt get a chance to read up properly on it.

    Shall stay clear.

Just a bit of fun tonight with a 10er double on Eto and Kevin Nolan to score anytime

    and Dortmund -1 15 euro.

Real Madrid price shortened a fair bit. 5/4 with Coral at the moment and apparently it was as big as 13/8 earlier. Still think this holds a bit of value but annoyed I didn't see the big price earlier so no bet for me but I still think the away team is best bet. Not a tip per se as I won't be backing myself

Be wary of Dortmund, I think they picked up two key injuries last weekend.
Athletico Madrid got a kicking the other night, the ref left Almeara get away with taking lumps out of Ath Mad. Same ref that Mourinho said was in Barcas pocket.

Thinking of Villa, Leyton Orient, Yeovil , maybe Dortmund.
Yeovil lost 2-1 to Leeds but had a penalty togo 2-0 up at weekend and their goalie fluffed a free kick in a gale

West Ham have only lost once at home since the end of November.

Norwich are without an away win since 7 December.

    West Ham Draw No Bet.

Nothing else of genuine interest today at the prices.

Under 2.5 in Toulouse vs Bastia @ 1.57
    0-0 @ 7.50

Bastia haven't won a single game away from home this season, mainly because the coach always wants to play attacking football, and plays the same way home and away, it works pretty well at home, but away from home it's a disaster.
So now the coach has decided to change his tactics, and Bastia have a very defensive line up for tonight's game, with 5 men in defense, 3 defensive midfielders, and Ilan (our worst attacking player) and Cissé (he sucks pretty bad) up front.

Toulouse are playing without their best striker Ben Yedder.

This game has unders written all over it, anything but an underish game would be a big surprise for me.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,303 ✭✭✭Lasagna Diarra

Got that one completely wrong, sorry if anyone followed... should've taken double chance, but never thought Bastia could score 2 goals away from home.

4 shots on target in the first half, 3 goals. **** happens. Good reasoning which is the main thing in the long run.

Although I didn't back it and missed out on a win I am still happy about this. I would have backed had I seen the early price but at 5/4 I wasn't too sure - although that price looks handy in hindsight. Have been trying to get out of the habit of backing for the sake of it.

I've 25 quid on Man U DNB tonight at 5/4 with PP.
I know Man U are off form but their record in the Emirates is impressive with 3 wind and a draw in last 6 there. They have won 7 out of the last 10 meetings between them. Arsenal are without Vermaelen, Walcott, Diaby, Ramsey and Flamini and confidence must be battered after Anfield last Saturday. Ozil has gone off the boil a bit too. Man U will be desperate not to lose again and I think they'll start a mini-revival tonight.
    Thoughts...

    Fulham v Liverpool

    Daniel Sturridge anytime 4/6
    - large Stake

Just repeating what I said in the Arsenal game where I had a large stake on the single. With his goal in the Arsenal game it's now 14/17 league games he has found the net in.
Fulham have conceded 12 goals in their last 4 games at the Cottage and I see no reason why he won't add to his tally. He scored a hat trick in this fixture last season.

    Liverpool -1 1st half handicap 16/5 - Medium Stake

Anyone who has watched Liverpool regularly this season will have noticed this pattern. They have been far better in the opening 45 minutes of games than the closing 45. This is certainly reflected in their goals for column with 42 of their 63 league goals (66%) coming in the 1st half.
While they have only covered this bet away from home twice all season I feel they can do it again here against a Fulham team who offered nothing going forward against Man Utd and would have comfortably lost the game had they come up against a more imaginative attack which Liverpool certainly possess.

    Opta facts:
Fulham have lost 12 of their last 16 Barclays Premier League games at Craven Cottage (W3 D1 L12).
Luis Suarez has scored four goals in four Premier League games against Fulham.
The Reds have scored more first half goals in the Premier League this season (42) than 16 of the other 19 teams in the league have in total.

    Women's football tomorrow morning!

Under 2.5 in New Zealand vs North Korea @ 1.80

    http://int.women.soccerway.com/matches/2014/02/13/world/friendly-women/new-zealand/korea-dpr/1641590/

2 underish teams with similar results against the same opposition, and I wouldn't be surprised if the North Korean women played like their male counterparts - very defensive robotic football, which seems to be the case judging by their results.

    Women's world ranking : http://www.fifa.com/worldranking/rankingtable/women/
Doesn't seem to be much difference between the two teams, both teams showed they could compete with the best teams (Japan, Brazil, US)
