Hello,

I'm just wondering why Adam Lallana didn't get an assist for Lambert's goal today. Lallana won the free-kick from which Lambert scored. The rules state:

Penalties and Free-Kicks
In the event of a penalty or free-kick, the player earning the penalty or free-kick is awarded an assist if a goal is directly scored, but not if he takes it himself, in which case no assist is given.

I would appreciate any feedback on why Lallana would not get an assist for this or preferably a review in which the assist could be awarded. I appreciate the time taken to read this and any reply and/or review.

FA are corrupt as f*** wouldn't be surprised if he gets away with it coz of his high profile, whereas if it was a Hull or Palace player or whatever it would be a definite suspension. Throw a spanner in the works if he was to miss the dgw games tho

The double gameweek is not until GW31. If he gets a suspension he would be back for that. A double gameweek is when a team has more than 1 game in a single gameweek.
Man Utd and Man City dont play on GW28 so they will play twice on GW31.

Man City v Fulham
West Ham v Man Utd
Man Utd v Man City

Look everything will be grand RVP will score 4 goals all assisted by Mata. Evans will miraculously be fit and keep a clean and knock one in himself and Mirallas will get 2 free-kicks of world class quality.
