I've ordered a few of Wingnut's Premium liquids over the past few weeks and I must say I'm impressed. Wingnut's Cola in particular is a standout. Highly recommended if you haven't tried them.

How can you tell when it's the real stuff?

I probably should have asked here yesterday before ordering :/

It's made by Alien Visions Ejuice. Alien Vapor saw a non-trademarked hot commodity and decided to make or source a clone of it - "Brand: Area51 eLiquids".

vapor-freak are well-known and regarded and it's been confirmed by those who've had juice directly from AVE that it's the real deal.

The only place local-ish that I've seen it (Germany).

Gotta be prepped for that cost though!

I tried a couple of (cheap) tobacco juices at the beginning and didn't like them at all.

BUT with all the circlejerk over Bobas Bounty, I feel somewhat compelled to buy some.

    I like heavy caramel/coffee/strong/complex juices.

What does Bobas Bounty actually taste of?

    You're going to adore it.

What does it taste of? When there was some going around the FB page everybody's responses were different. I was getting dark berries, biscuit and brown sugar (the tobacco is barely-there, don't really know why it's described as a tobacco when it's so sweet and savoury).

Artyeva said something about cabbage and it being gross.

I loved it, but it's too expensive & hard-to-get, couldn't be bothered with that at all.

I got a slight tinge of coconut as well, oh and it's not that tobacco.

Cheers. It's one of those I'll probably only try the once. Like GVC, the second bottle of that was too much for me, I liked it at first, but after vaping only that for a few days I started to find it very sickly-sweet.

We all know PB promotes the sheet out of Bobba's, but I've seen a few reviewers talk about besides. Got to see what the fuss is about. Raging I got the wrong one now, maybe next week I'll chance one bottle of the real one.

Right so i have been lurking around these parts for about 2 months and figured it's about time i posted what i have.

I have gotten a few things over the last 2 months so im just going to combine it all in one post.

So at the start of December after taking to Boogietime i decided to get the evod starter kit, great piece of kit, used it solely for about a month, then decided to upgrade.

Next I got the Vision spinner and the vision v3 dual coil clearomizer, the spinner is great, try to use it as much as i can, the vision v3 clearomizer i don't like too much at all, there is not enough air flow its too tight and its prone to leaking quite alot and im not over filling it.

And now today i got the pro-tank 2 mini, a kanger tech mini ts3 and the lavatube vx full kit, lavatube is great, only downside is that i can't get the top off so i can connect the pro-tank on to it :(, will have to get a pliers or something at it to get it off, but im happy to use the vision spinner with the protank for the moment.

Using about 3 different liquids regularly at the moment, wingnuts blue sky 12mg, wingnuts energon 12mg and a blueberry 18mg purchase from bargainvapour. BlueSky is by far my favourite so far just wish it would come in 50ml or 100ml. Have tried a few other flavours, but no pure tobacco flavour since i was using smokegreen. Might start to experiment with mixing flavours soon.

Going to have to try and stop buying more things its and expensive hobbie! Next thing on the to-do list is to make a few cotton wicks and try them out.

James was saying the same thing, that he'd like to start making his own wicks... We can gather at my gaff to do that or if there are more people interested into coils&cotton wicks for the protank/evod series we can meet up in a public place to share experiences so far. So, if anyone's up (and yes, I know it's not the right place but hey, I'm just following Allen's post :D), let me know!

Picked up this Forge Clone for about 8 Euro and really funky drip tip for around 2.50 :)

The adjustable air holes are fantastic and drip well nice and deep (no leakage!) so I can start wearing white shirts again ;)

A full week off the analogues now, using an ego twist and innokin i16's, so treated myself to an MVP 2.0 to celebrate, would have spent twice the price of it on smokes already this week, some juice and some clearos, should be here Monday, can't wait!! :)

PS- any recommendations for a large capacity clearomiser that will sit nicely on top of it for an evenings vaping? (Don't really want to get into the rebuilding side yet, just need something quick and easy as between working and writing a thesis time is precious at the moment) Thanks in advance, bd

Aspire Nautilus Clearomizer is the only man, available at http://www.e-smokeireland.eu/product-p/nautilus.htm (not affiliated with the vendor, just don't have a problem recommending them, nothing but good dealings with them)

I've a pain in my hoop with all the different cheap clearomizers I've tried to date; so don't mind shelling out for a quality one - it's worth the cash?

I cannot endorse them enough, so much so that I have two of them Eoin ;):D

Great stuff, thanks for that. How often do need to change the atomizer?

I vape HOL NET liquids which are heavy going on the coils :(

What I have gotten into the habit of doing is rotating coils over a 2 week period, use for 24 hours, swap out & leave surplus coil soaking in isoproponal alchohol until ready to swap out again.

Before I swap out, I flush the coil & dry burn it for a short while...voila :D

This maintains my coils & negates that burnt taste as the coil is cleaned internally.

If I could only figure out how to rebuild the coils...this is the only 'con' about the Nautilus I have found to date :(

MVP arrived today :):) very happy with it so far!, I also ordered a Kanger evod clearo just to give it a try. Not impressed if I'm honest, (been using it on my ego twists and the MVP), i think its probably because i have been using i16s for quite a while and am more accustomed to a top coil set up. i just find the evod very, for want of a better word, 'airy'. Back to my i16s here methinks.

Just a quick question re the nautilus MonstaMash, as it is bottom coil (as far as I know) do you think i will feel the same about it as i do the evod seeing as i have been using top coil i16s on and off for the last good long time?

Ps- a big thank you to ESI for the quick service and the little 'extra' thrown in. (not affiliated in any way just a happy vapour spouting customer, Mods feel free to edit if you feel that is inappropriate)

Nah bd2012 I think it's cool to say good things about vendors if they take care of you. ESI is defo one of the better vendors out there :)
The ones that have been best to me (that I've used so far!) have been
    e-smokeireland (ESI)
    vaporium
    ez-smoke
    vaperus
    e-cirette
in no particular order :) I could be forgetting some too? :)

Re the Nautilus and EVOD ... yea the EVOD has a bit of an airy draw but I like that. All comes down to individual taste. It's an airy draw and not very hot, just slightly warm because it's a bottom coil device. Top coil devices give a warmer vapour. The draw is really redependant on the smallest opening inside the device. So you could get a really tight bottom coil and a really air top coil, or visa versa.

The ultimate thing would be a fully adjustable air flow control. The Nautilus has air flow control (AFC). I'm not sure what the maximum and minimum settings are so even if something has AFC it might not be tight enough or airy enough for you.

BTW if you put something on one of the holes on the bottom of the outside of the EVOD you can make the draw tighter. Someone I know puts a tooth pick in the hole and snaps the tip off inside. (Just it with the toothpick before snapping it first to be sure.) I think there's 3 holes you if you block one too make it tight or two to make it super tight.

Cheers StickyIcky, yeah i tried covering the holes with my finger tips but ended up with a bit of gurgling and juice yuck! no i think I'm just used to a top coil set up and i like it.

Then again i have been vaping on and off over a year now and this is my first week in a long time solely vaping (i.e not smoking!) so perhaps my preferences will change over time.

I guess the airflow control in the nautilus should give you a little more control over things, the main attraction for me is the 5ml tank as I am vaping quite a bit in the last week, however this MAY go down too :)

Thanks for the input, and happy vaping!!

I got myself a Davide Aspire tank. I'm sick of having to refill the 1.8ml ones so hopefully the 3ml capacity of this thing will keep me going for a full day.

Today I ordered, for the first time, some replacement coils for my Kanger E-Vod. Also ordered a few Boge XL cartomizers to see if they provide a better experience.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,756 ✭✭✭Thecageyone

I tried the Boge carts, I found them very dry, and airy. Not for me. If you're used to clearos you might experience same. But some people love them. Also, their XL ones won't take any old drip tip, only the specific ones designed for it.

Boge cartos were meant to be used with the cone on ego battery, they worked fine with flat 510 connections but the ego's design needed the cone to reduce the airflow.
Never had the problem with the short or long ones, they were the same diameter so should take the same tips. Margins are tight so their can be some variations in case thickness, possibly thicker on xl cartos to add strength.
Used to love me a lo res boge back in the day.

I think I know what yer man is talking about, I get enough vapour and flavour though it has this... dry sort of taste. Very neutral, it's not something heavy on the taste but you can feel it and it may not be good for ya, if you're used to clearos.

I've been eyeing up the iTaste VTR for a while, I finally bought one on Fasttech today along with 2 batteries for €67 and free delivery, the only downside being the 2 plus week wait and the probable tax on top of what I've already paid, will still be worth it though.

You could have got that VTR from an irish vendor for about €8 euro more and you'd have it tomorrow or monday and not have any customs headaches.

I know but the battery cost will make up for the wait, $15 for two of their best 18650's and with a bit of luck I'll avoid customs, if I do happy days, if not it's not a big deal as there will be nothing in the difference really.
