    Hi moderators,

I created the thread mentioned above yesterday and asked a question about company taxation. Why exactly was it closed?? And by whom?

This forum is called 'Biz / Taxation'. Sounds like company taxation should be covered here.

    Regards,

I'm not a mod but the advice you were looking for is against the charter (have a read of it)

specific advice, especially on complex issues (which your was), is not allowed here as boards could be held liable for incorrect advice given out and, to be honest, there is plenty of that given out regularly on this page by non tax people.

For what you were propsoing, you need to seek professional advice. I saw in your post in the accountancy forum you wanted to have some sort of understanding before you met an advisor but what your proposing brings forward a multitude of issue, both tax and legal, so there isn't really a simple way of giving you a base knowledge on it

if you are going to go ahead with the transaction, the fee for an advisor will be more than worth it versus getting it wrong for tax purposes

Your thread was closed because it was looking for specific tax advice which is against the charter. I normally ban people for it but you are new to Boards so I am being flexible.

You might read the charter. Thread closed.
