Assuming you're asking could you replace a 21-hole hub with a 36-hole one, the answer is no. While you might get away with using a 36-hole in place of a 18-hole hub, you're still building twice the tension/pressure onto each spoke hole that it was designed for.

I've seen a cheap 36 spoke G3 and was wondering could I use it with the Zondas I ordered. The Zondas are 21 spoke so I assumed they werent compatible but thought I would ask

get an open pro rim built up for the g3. the rim is replaceable, i got about a year and a bit out of mine and was able to get a replacement rim and nipples for 60 quid. much cheaper than a zonda wheel.

I think that's the plan. Hopefully picking up the G3,for €500, just waiting for confirmation about specs.

Wheel build will cost €50, plus rim and spokes maybe €130 total
