Was thinking strongly of going with Feyenoord tomorrow @8/15 against Roda who are apparently missing many key players, thoughts?

Roda are without Fledderus ( Midfielder, important with corners and free kicks, takes them all) Demouge (cfwd, terrible player but always gets the best out himself against Feyenoord), (Nemeth, another cfwd, never convinced me) and Dijkhuizen (rightback)

Feyenoord without Mathijssen but if there is one position where Feyenoord doesnt have problems replacing players it is in central defence. Got 5 good ones.

Expect a scrappy match, must win for both for different reasons.
Makkelie in charge so there is every chance the match is nver gettign any flow because the guy likes to hear his whistle a lot.
It has also been 4 matches now where he didnt sent some one off...... which is rather remarkable with him.

Roda does get a lot of cards: 4x straight red ( 3 of them collected by Demouge and Dijkhuizen who are both out as mentioned) and 2x a player was sent of with 2 bookings.

Feyenoord has had 3 sending offs this season of which 2 came in 1 match.

Makkelie also has handed out most penalties (13) in the Eredivisie so if the odds are nice, red card YES and penalty YES are nice side bets.

Feyenoord matches has seen 9 penalties, Roda's 8.

Roda got screwed this weekend though getting a penalty rewarded against them that never was so i fear a Feyenoord player will have to be shot with an AK-47 before they get one. At the other hand, Makkelie is a bit special.

As for goals, Feyenoord - Roda usually sees quite a few of them, but it is a bit different when they play at Roda. (0-1/0-0/0-3 in the last 3 seasons) And because it is the Eredivisie, odds on goals are pretty terrible usually.

So.. enough typing. Might do something later on the other Erededivisie matches.

What about unders then? Under 3.5 @ 1.60 is tempting

What about unders then? Under 3.5 @ 1.60 is tempting

Went through the results of the last 5 or 6 years.
2x it went over 3.5 but once that was because of an early red card for Roda and a late one for Feyenoord.
But under Koeman, Feyenoord played 2x there, 0-0 and 0-1.

Some stats, if you decide to go for it.
Might be handy to know when you are considering laying at 1 point:

Roda has scored in each of their last 12 matches
Feyenoord is the first half top scorer in the eredivisie
Roda has conceded more goals inthe last 10 minutes of matches than any other club in the Eredivisie

But you know my thoughts about unders ..... :D

I'm gonna chance it anyway, not often you see odds on under 3.5 that high.

Under 3.5 in the Feyenoord game @ 1.60

There's lots of pressure on Blanc cuz the owners want PSG to win at least 2 domestic competitions, and they're already out of the French Cup. If they beat Nantes tonight, they'll be in the final of the League Cup. Word is if they lose tonight, he won't have a say in the future signings (he's the one who wanted the club to sign Cabaye).

So huge pressure on Blanc whereas Nantes will want to atone for their 4-0 defeat vs PSG a few weeks ago...

probable line up (Cavani is injured)
Paris SG : Douchez – Van der Wiel, Alex, Thiago Silva, Maxwell – Verratti, Thiago Motta, Matuidi – Lucas, Ibrahimovic, Lavezzi.

Lee Gregory (Halifax) anytime @ 2.20

Ok, Gregory has 17 goals this season from 22 starts, and he has scored in each the last 7 home games. Halifax have scored 41 goals in 16 games. Salisbury have conceded 21 goals in 13 away games. Gonna keep an eye out for any reports on the pitch, and wait for line ups.

    2-1 Feyenoord
Penalty (Roda) and under 3,5 for Lass

That was penalty no 5 Roda got from Makkelie.
And to be honest, could have been a sending off as well with that penalty

PSG full strength team... worth a bet at 1.5. Won the last 5 meetings.

Was thinking of backing Madrid myself, Ronaldo available before suspension and also Bale returning they'll want to win at home. Big price for Real Madrid at home.

    Vitesse - AZ 0-2

Didnt check the H2H but Vitesse hasnt won at home against AZ since 2007 ... missed chance for a DC at least.

I done a double - Under 3.5 in the Feyenoord game and the Vitesse Game.

    :)

Both Teams to score double tomorrow night:
Preston v Nottingham Forest ( Preston have scored in 9/10 last home games, same for Notts away)
Dumbarton v Livingston ( happened four of the last 5 meetings between the two)

Just be wary of the first one - they drew 0-0 in the reverse fixture a couple of weeks ago. As for the Dumbarton v Livingston match, over 2.5 might be best (happened in last 6 meetings between the two teams) and is a slightly better price than both teams to score.

    Real Madrid vs Athletico Madrid
Under 2.5 goals is evens on Bet365. Has occurred in Madrid's last three home games against Athletico. Athletico are also missing Villa and it is expected that Ancelotti will play Arbeloa and Coentrao in a slightly more defensive line up.

"Early" match in Holland tonight is Cambuur - PSV

Let it drop somewhere on the forum already i very much like the Cambuur DC which i took a few days ago @2.05

When just looking at statistics this season, it is a no brainer.

Cambuur is in 15th place but if you just look at a ranking for home matches, they would be in 9th with w6-d1-l3. Away from home they havent won a single match, picking up 3 points only.
Those 3 matches they lost were against Ajax, Twente and Feyenoord and certainly against Ajax and Twente they deserved more.
PSV would be in 11th position in the league table made of away matches only wit ha w2-d2-l7 record which is nothing short of embarrassing.

Cambuur missing 2 regulars tonight due to suspension, PSV not missing anyone apart from the couple of players they miss for months already.

Cambuur played pretty good away to Twente last sunday but lost 3-1, while PSV didnt do so well away to RKC, 2-0 loss.

The main reason why Cambuur has the home record they have is their artificial pitch. The matches they lost at home was mostly due to them not taking their chances but they have sorted that out a bit during the winterbreak by getting 2 forwards in, Elvis Manu and Ogbeche who were on the score sheet in their last home game against Heerenveen.
When looking at goals scorers i would pick on off these guys.

Might be another under 3,5 for Lass but i am less convinced for that as with vitesse - AZ last night while the odds are pretty terrible. So i will not advise this one.

Referee for tonight is Vink who isnt too generous with his cards.
Only 2 sending offs this season when he was in charge but .... 1 came in a Cambuur match (at home against Ajax) and the other one was a home match of PSV.
Also just 1 penalty given by Vink apparently this season. No no bets for me on the cards/penalties.
