Passed by there on the way home and there were 20 cops and loads of photographers outside?
I assume it's someone on the Late Late?

Ah well you see, Iona and their 1980's opinions have allegedly charged RTÉ for infringing on the sodomy law for bending over for them on Saturday when they apologised.

Talk about bang for your buck....

Gaybo trying to storm the late late stage again I'd say.

What are they saying 'no' to?

A quick Google suggests that Tony Rochford is head of that campaign. He sure gets around for someone that's being on hunger strike for a number of months!

People have a right to be pissed off but the second I heard that clown Tony Roachford was involved in the protest I lost interest. What an absolute cretin

Presumably they didn't cringe enough last week so Iona Institute were exercising their ridiculously disproportionate amount of influence with our public broadcaster to make sure they didn't mention the gayers again.

They're sneaky that way them homos.

    Idiots :)

Idiots in the manner they were protesting, or idiots for protesting about what Dobson said?

    Both, and so much more.

Their protest seems a little delayed. Dobson's comment was made about two months ago. Surely then was the time to do it?

It took them that long to organize the protest. They needed a day where none were due at the dole office.

Dole offices are open so late in the evenings?

    Never knew it.

No, but they are probably travelling from the arse end of nowhere. Unless we have teleporters now?

We live in Ireland. Most places in the country are accessible to Dublin in a few hours.

No need for teleporters. Trains/cars/busses will suffice.

People protesting, be it about corruption, fraud, greed, or in this case about the state broadcasters blatant disregard to the broadcasting act in which they must remain impartial, must be dole scroungers though . Go figure.

Maybe they are welfare tourists or they flew in for the protest?

Idiots protesting months later about being called idiots. Nothing to see here.

Only someone with an agenda would start a thread on this. I notice the OP is the same one that started the original thread back when they were called idiots on air. I wonder what his involvement with these 'protesters' is...
