Vodafone at Home BB Speeds

    Hey all,

    Want to try and gauge everyone else, see if theres any other problems.

    Up until about 2 weeks ago I was getting consistently 9-10MB on my Broadband, with a ping of about 35-60MS. Last 2 weeks however my ping has been ranging from low 300 to 780 last night and the DL speeds are pathetic.

    I have emailed Vodafone and put a complaint in their Talk to: so we'll see what comes from that, If you have a look below at the image I attached its a far cry from 10MB.

    Anyone else having problems with Vodafone of late?

    This is no surprise, they piggyback off eircoms old oversubscribed DSL circuits.

    Nothing will come of your email, they'll ask you to do this and that, this screams congestion during peak time. I would seriously consider looking at fibre/ wireless providers (this depends where you live and who is in your area)

    I had vodafone, experienced same issue.After months of no joy or no assistance I moved provider. Now have wireless provider on 10Mb circuit. 9.99Mb down, 1 up and great ping times

    quality service.... approx 7ms ping to google.ie ... ( this depends on what area you live, I can tell you who is good or bad)

    Just call them and set some line tests run. With the weather lately it's highly possible a line fault has occurred. Also make sure no one on the network is using torrents while your running a test.
