Apologies if this has been covered in another thread, but I was just wondering if there is any particular reason why trains leaving Newbridge for Dublin between roughly 730am and 8am seem to have been routinely 10-20 minutes late for the past week or so. Is there some sort of disruption (perhaps a station closure with bus transfers?) or is this just normal for those trains?

It's pretty normal in my experience. The most reliable one is the 0730 from Galway, it's usually on time. The 0744 from Waterford is usually 10 minutes late, often later than that. The 0757 from Westport tends to be similarly late.

07.44 service has slipped because of the landslides. TSR still in place in two locations and signalling in Waterford however even with those sorted it never had the best record but is much better than when it started a year ago. Easily losing 5 minutes with the recent problems. .
