I wanted pet ones too but the shop I was buying them from changed their minds and said they wanted to keep them as they were a breeding pair. They gave me Degus instead. Awesome little guys!

Being a chillaxed day for myself. Listening to a lot of Killing Joke. Awesome band :D Currently downloading some stuff by them.

I did like tea but I am drinking a bit more than I normally would I suppose :D

Awh degus are cool! Chipmunks are mental little things altogether. Unfortunately mine didn't survive as long as they should have for some odd reason. One was really sweet and the other one was a bit of a nutter. He used to bite sometimes and it was quite sore. I've been bitten by dogs, cats, gerbils, hamsters, chipmunks.. I have scars from the cat, I needed antibiotics and a tetanus after that one!

    Ouch!

You could try putting a blanket or a toy she likes in the car with her when she's in it, it might help calm her a little bit. :)

The Degus were awesome! Used to love watching them run riot around the cage and if we let them out they loved to swing out of the curtains. They were gas!

One died about three years ago though :( Don't know why. Just found him in the cage with his little buddy huddled beside him :( The other little guy lived up until last November :( He lived for six years. And three of them years without his companion. I was always led to believe that once their partner/companion dies, the other one dies of loneliness. But he surprised us all.

We had a hatchback when she was a puppy and had one of those rack things that goes up to the roof, got two mins down the road and she had it on the floor and jumped over the back into the seats!

Yeah one of my chipmunks loved getting into my wardrobe. I lost him one day and opened the wardrobe, here he was sitting on top of the hangers peeping out at me! :D

Awh no, poor little guys. Sounds like what happened to my chipmunks, and a couple of the gerbils I had went the same way. :(
