Mercedes and Saab engines

    My friend wants to buy a Saab 1.9 TiD. What are the common faults on these engines also what about the w211 Mercedes e22o cdi e270 cdi e320 cdi and e200 compressor? Thanks in advance

    The 1.9 saab engine is actualy a fiat unit used by Fiat, Alfa, Saab, Opel, Vauxhall ...
    It is a good engine. Not sure about the merc engines though.
