    looking at a john deere 6400, 1994, 7600 hrs, good condition but tyres done, what your views on these tractors...

    From what I believe these were a good tractor and well ahead of there time with a power quad transmission. But its rare to get one now with low hours and 7600 hours is not high at all. If is well minded and in good shape then go for it.

    still making good money, couldnt give a estimate to be honest, they are a tractor that can do most jobs around the place, loader work, ploughing etc. gutsy yoke bit hard on diesel though, wouldnt be high hours at all

    Id say you would be parting with a least 15k for 1 anyway. Like anythings all depends on the shape. But they are a lovely tidy machine and I have heard they like diesel but that's expected from a John Deere.
